They don’t come with the string already attached so you have to go through them all and tie strings to hang them up

The first thing to consider when buying these ornaments is that they are HUGE. These stars are large enough that, if I held one in my hand, it would extend past the edges of my palm. What I hadn't considered when buying the stars is that I have a small Christmas tree; each branch is only about 3.5 - 4.5 inches above the one under it. Because of this, the stars "sagged" when placed on the tree; the bottom parts of each star got tangled up with the branches they touched.Because of this, I would recommend either using them with a large tree (mine was a measly 4-footer) so they don't lean on the branches underneath them. Additionally, you could try tacking them onto a mantel or the top frame of a door. They're great decorations, very strong, and as guaranteed, pretty much unbreakable. Next year, I'm definitely going to place them underneath our living room mantle.The glitter is subtle; a tiny bit came off onto my hands, but not much. It was also very easy to hang them on the tree and remove them afterwards. They're all identical, not different snowflakes, and a very true, bright white. I am giving these four stars out of five because I find the size unwieldy, and I believe that the loop connecting the stars to the tree should be shorter or adjustable to help customers with limited hanging space.If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will answer as best I can!

I love the sparkle that these snowflakes add to my "Frozen" Christmas tree. They are very glittery. I'm sure I'll be sweeping up glitter until Valentin's day. The 4-inch size makes them quite large ornaments. I have a pack of white ones as well. It would probably be overwhelming to have more than the two sets of snowflakes on a 7-foot tree. These are a perfect accent for filling in empty spaces between other ornaments.All of the snowflakes are cut identically. It would be kind of neat to have a few different cuts, since every snowflake is unique. I'm sure there's a limitation to production. They do have to be strung. The package comes with plenty of extra string. Each string is about 4 inches long. When strung up these kind of hang off the branches, rather than dangle.These are not particularly sturdy. They can handle dropping off the tree, but not being stepped on. My toddler has destroyed a couple of them. They probably won't last more than a season in storage. The good news is that the cats have largely ignored them. I think they find the glitter unpleasant on their paws.I am kind of disappointed that they don't really reflect the lights on the tree. They don't really sparkle, even with an epic amount of glitter. They're pretty, but not quite as enchanting as I thought they'd be.

I have had these for 5 years and they still look great. I just wanted to get another pack. You do have to tie the strings on them which is a pain, I just used ornament hooks. When my grandmother passed I received her Lenox ornament collection along with very old Christmas balls, these were a great addition to her collection, ties it all together.

I love winter except for the heating bills and snow. When I’m inside, I can enjoy these sparkly pops of enchantment on my Christmas tree. At first I thought they might be too big, but when they arrived I liked the size. They aren’t too big or too small, and make a nice addition to the Christmas tree. They seem strong enough to last for several years. I have these in other colors, and they have held up very well over the years. I don’t think we have broken any. The tree we bought this year is flocked, so these silver snowflakes will look lovely on them. I may order a package of the gold ones as well. These don’t cost a lot of money and will last several seasons with reasonable care: I call that a solid investment.

I ordered a package of red and a package of gold glittery snowflakes. These are complemented by the Christmas tree lights which only accent their sparkle. Very reasonably priced, sturdy, and a strong addition to the Christmas tree. I also appreciated the gold threads which were included for hanging the ornaments.

They are absolutely beautiful on my tree. I was a little annoyed when I received them because the string that are supposed to be used to hang them on the tree was not attached. I had to attached the strings to all of them! It was time consuming. But they looked beautiful so I can’t complain. I guess you have to work hard to get beautiful things lol. The strings were easy to attached they kinda have little interlocking hooks that secure easily. Overall I’m very happy with this lucky find and purchase! Would buy again if I need more! Btw the stars are very soft and flexible. Not hard and plastic like most others out there, the glitter was not gritty as most glitters are.

These are lightweight plastic snowflakes that have a good amount of glitter to them. I think that is important given the materials - and they do make a nice addition to the tree. There were a couple that were cracked upon arrival but this doesn't really impact their usage but could certainly limit the number of holiday seasons they could be used if not packed carefully. These are a welcomed addition to our tree as my 8 year old doesn't bother the tree like she did when she was younger. I think that they could pose an issue if you have young children as they will break fairly easily and since things tend to head for the mouth first - there could be a potential hazard. For our needs and tree they are a good fit and value.

I saw these is a store after i received them at a far better value.
