Everything you need to know about dumplings...
Our family became fascinated with dumplings, and after trying a number of store-bought products, we decided that we wanted to take it to the next level and make our own. This book is an absolute wealth of knowledge about everything dumpling-related.The recipes are good and the different options for folding the dumplings are so intricate, that you could get a job folding those fancy towel animals on a cruise ship if you ever tire of dumplings. The book presents you with lots of options, and if you and your family want to try something unique, have a dumpling party and invite friends and family to try any number of different flavors and styles. You can also easily get lost in the myriad of different dipping sauces that you can create and experiment with. This book is informative, entertaining, and FUN! Enjoy!

Very nice cokbook, but....
Many of the recipes are quite exotic asian recipes that I would never make and that include ingredients I wouldn't have on hand. I really just want to make dumplings with minced meat and common vegetables, but, that's a tiny portion of the book.

Such a fun book!
A great little cookbook! The photos are stunning, the directions are simple and the food looks amazing. I got this as a gift for my sister and read it before I wrapped it. Can’t wait to try the prosciutto dumplings! Also great recommendations on where to buy the ingredients. 10/10 will buy a copy for my own kitchen!

A fun book of making Gyoza
My pictures do not do justice to the book. The book is very well laid out, giving ingredients, fillings, folding types in that order. The 50 recipes then reference the fillings, folding type and cooking technique. Paradise has you purchasing the skins locally that you will use and putting all his techniques instructions on the folding and ingredients. His recommendation of chopping/dicing the meat instead of using ground meat was worth the price of the book to me. The 3 bags in the photo have ones I made before his book and then after his book. His pictures of the folding show from 15 to 18 steps and are very clear. We are very pleased with the purchase and have made 144 dumplings so far. We do make our own skins and my wife like our homemade gyoza's better than the purchased one.

Not what I expected.
Not as well written as I had hoped for. The photography is excellent. Recipes are lacking details and instructions.
