Bought this because I am always cold at weddings and I knew I needed something that looked nice but kept me warm. This did the trick! Price is good, it is soft. I washed it and it still looks great.

The product is soft to the touch. It is a nice size to wrap around your shoulders. One problem I came across when I wore it over a white cotton longsleeved blouse, the shawl shed all over the white blouse. I had to return to my cruise cabin and remove my white blouse. I did not wash it before wearing. Just wanted to share my experience.

This shawl is definitely soft, but I wouldn't call it "silky." It definitely could pass as a personal blanket for a plane. It's quite versatile. I've only used it once, but it gives me the feeling that its the kind of material that would pill so don't throw it in the dryer.

This shawl is extremely soft. If you are cold natured you will like this summer weight material. It is a medium weight fabric, not gauzy like some. The size is very ample for good coverage. I like to fold it over my legs in cool places. I highly recommend you trying it!

I just received this shawl that I needed desperately for a wedding that is turning colder than expected for June. It came in two days and it is beautiful! Nice fabric and well made. Definitely a keeper.

Just opened, I didn't wash, but threw it in the dryer for a few minutes. It's so soft-for under 20 bucks, I expected more scratchy, so I'm pleasantly surprised. I got the beige for an outdoor wedding. I can guarantee I'm going to spill something on it and I'll follow up with a quality update after it's been washed.

This is nice material however it is not as big as the picture. It is about the size of a nice Winter scarf. Check the measurements. Lesson learned but I will keep it as the material and size is nice for the Winter season.

The scarf is soft and provides ample coverage from wind or sun. And it's just nice to wear any time.

Excellent quality - much better than I was expecting.
