Curious George Parade Day Tabbed Board Book

Cute book with different festive stories!

I'm very disappointed with this book. I ordered the new version and the book came warped and the conner of the last page is all bent. Also it doesn't hold my child's attention and the story line is werid.

Not my favorite Curious George board book -- we have the Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas ones as well. Maybe it's because we had those first. Still cute though and glad we purchased!

Each page has a cute Fourth of July themed poem.

My two-almost-three year old grandson LOVES Curious George and we have numerous CG books in our home library. I purchased this book for him as we planned to attend the local Fourth or July parade. He listened to this book once when it first arrived. I tried to read it to him again but he would get off my lap or walk away. I tried to read it again after we watched the local parade because our happenings were similar to those in the book, but he was just not interested. Will be donating this book as I think other children may enjoy it.

We have several of the Curious George tabbed board books, which are a collection of rhyming poems rather than an actual storybook. This one is definitely our least favorite on thus far. I like holiday themed books to read to my toddler around the corresponding holiday. We purchased this one for the 4th of July, but it's not as good as the other holiday Curious George books we have. The rhyming scheme seemed a little awkward and the "story" itself was rather lackluster. We'll keep it to add to our growing collection, but this one probably won't be read as much as the others.
