Opened, but authentic.
So upon reading many reviews of these wonderful little Android Mini Collectibles, I was worried I might receive some sort of fake or replica. Fortunately mine turned out to be authentic and wasn't missing the cute little cherry from his head. He also does have the very subtle smell of a cupcake, which is my favorite part. The packaging had already been opened(as stated in the description) but I will be buying them directly from Dead Zebra from now on and taking my chances at potentially receiving a double.I bought 6 of them at once to negate the cost of shipping from Dead Zebra and used the promo code NOTCOT to get 6 of them for only $45 after shipping. Also, if you buy these from Dead Zebra, you get a free random sticker in your package. But the figure in itself was in excellent condition minus small areas of the painted confetti (a couple of the little pieces of confetti looked like they had tiny nicks where the paint was scratched off, but I am guessing it came out of the factory like this since they're so tiny). The box was in about 7/10 condition, but it had the authentic hologram sticker on the bottom and nothing was missing from the box.The price went down but shipping went up in the past week or so.

Total Rip Off
Like Jon before I even opened the box I felt like something was wrong. No vanilla cupcake smell, but instead putrid plastic. But that's alright, I don't need to smell my droids to enjoy them. So I pulled the droid out of the packaging and immediately noticed the cherry stem was broken.Ok I can live with that, I'll glue it back on. Or so I thought to myself. So I set him down next to the chocolate cupcake droid I bought from another seller and it was then I realized what a terrible cheap knock off I had just been sold. The paint job is just awful. The tongue wasn't even close to the little smiley face, one of the eyes was also off but worse of all were the blue lines painted at the bottom. It looks like someone just took little blue strips of electrical tape and sloppily stuck them on the bottom. The two top antenna are just white. Not even painted and overall it's just crap.I'm glad to report though that I am getting a refund and sending it back today. At which point I'll be buying another from someone else. These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Great toy, but only if its real
Hello to anybody reading this, I have recently purchased this toy from a seller named E-CITY on Amazon. The box looked off, and I talked with the artist/creator of the toy, Andrew Bell, at deadzebra.com. Do be cautious when buying toys like these because sometimes, the fake reproductions look very similar. One way to tell if it is legitimate is by peeling off the little authenticity sticker at the bottom of the box, if there is a green android behind it, congratulations, your toy is legitimate, or hopefully it is.Since I have not actually gotten a legitimate official version of the toy yet, I hope to do so soon, as I own another version of these toys, and it looks great on my desk at home.Again, when buying toys like these, be extremely cautious.

Sweet Lord, I got ripped off...
Well, where do i begin........................I will start with this written review followed by a video.First off, this was a gift for a friend and I looked like a cheap ass when it was opened. My friend noticed before even opening the product that the box was a bit tacky compared some of the other authentic Droids that were purchased off of the Dead Zebra, Inc. website. Upon further inspection we then realized that the holographic droid sticker did not have a green droid on the sticky side....problems. As we continued opening the box (which was factory sealed as opposed to resealed) the stench that came out of it was not that of a cupcake, but more of cheap paint and plastic. I was horrified at the contents inside, especially that the cherry was missing off the poor droids head. I have attached a video at the visual inspection of the droid as follows, the video speaks for itself. I then shook the box and rifled through the plastic and the distorted cherry than popped out looking all sorts of mangled. I am shocked that the seller would falsely advertise this product to make it seem authentic.Product Features <----- Yes of course its a look-alike.Artist: Gary Ham <----- Doubt this very much (he must have been drunk).Ratio: 1/16 <----- Didn't care to measure it because it never passed my visual inspection.Size 3"Box opened and resealed to verify contents! <-------Clearly not "resealed"This product was sold by a one Geoffrey Laksmana (E-CITY). Who ever you are I want my money back and you should be fired for false advertising your companies fake products. Please also note that my friend also purchased a different droid from this individual "Geoffrey Laksmana" for Christmas and has left a review on this product as well. Adorable whimsy
When I received this it was too cute! Adorable whimsy and perfect for the baker that I have it slotted for. I hope that it will be a great inspiration piece to just remember that baking is fun. Movable just like all the other Androids and perfect for a starting collector.
