I cannot say enough good things about this pen/pencil combo. In the past, I wasn't too keen on the idea of the multiple colored pens, but I found this one to be everything I didn't know I needed in a pen. I originally purchased it while living in Japan, and was so disappointed in myself when I misplaced it. I was quite excited when I found it here, and for such a good price.It writes so smoothly, no skipping ever. It's a medium weight, solid-feeling pen. I like my pens to be medium to heavy weight, and this one fits the bill. The shell is matte black, and soft to the touch. The wooden grip is smooth, and slightly contoured for the hand.The inserts are replaceable and not expensive at all. I prefer to purchase pens that are refillable, and this one is perfect.5/5, would buy again if I ever lose it!

I've had this pen for almost 7 years now and it's held up pretty well compared to my other Uniball Jetstream 4 in 1 pens I've purchased. I've had 0.5mm ink replacements, spare lead and erasers and this pen hasn't failed me yet (knock on malt). Overall it was worth the purchase. In case you're wondering about the appearance of the pen, I was messing around with it one day after noticing a brass color under the black flecks that were coming off. I used a file to take the remaining black off of it and voila! Brass tones around the pure malt handle to give it a distinguished look in my opinion.

I love this pen, this is my favorite pen. I love the uniball jet stream pens, and this gives you four plus a mechanical pencil. It looks great black with a real wooden grip, and refillable (i usually find the blaxx black mixed with other color refills).

I have been using this pen for months now and still love it. I have replaced ink already and haven't had any issues. I love the 4 difference colors of ink and use all of them daily, plus the addition of the pencil makes it one of the most versatile instruments! I used to have separate pens for each ink color sitting on my desk, but now I condensed it all in to one. I also keep one in my purse so I have multiple color inks on the go as well.

Nice pen, the wood on mine is too dark, much darker than the picture.

I bought one in Japan at the Tokyo Gihan store and had to get another here in the US. One of my favorite utilities pens. It carries enough weight to guide smoothly daily notes and with the .5 ballpoint. This helps if you are writing in Kanji characters or perfect for the smaller detailed script.

If you need a nice and unusual gift, this is it! This pen is unique, the wood trim is beautiful. It's the only writing instrument one needs. The four ink colors SEEM like over kill at first. Give it some thought and you'll find many ways to use the different colors in your work. Be careful in your shopping for this pen! You can buy them for as cheap as $18 per pen INCLUDING tax and shipping, as I have!
