⚠️Warning this Will not blow up⚠️ great heater highly recommend read review.
It’s been seven months since I’ve bought this heater it’s had been keeping the temperature pretty good and it even tho it does hover at 72-73.5 degrees Fahrenheit I have this way because my dojo pond loach’s have to have water below 80 degrees Fahrenheit or they will experience fungal infections and ich infections there a cold water fish used to cooler temperatures somewhat similar to gold fish which are actually a cold water fish and I have a albino mini pleco algae eater some people would call it measuring in at 5 inches last time I checked and the pleco’s like temperatures in the early 70’s and early 80’s 72-82 degrees Fahrenheit is a lil bit warmer but not too much so 72 is the appropriate temperature and the Cory’s like warmer temperatures as well hovering in at early 70’s to the early 80’s 72-82 degrees Fahrenheit so to keep everyone happy or at least satisfied I keep it at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and even this it does go up a few degrees that’s fine as long as it doesn’t go below past 79 degrees Fahrenheit that fine but let’s get into the heart of the subject:how long will this cheap heater last?🤔 well for the last seven months it’s held up pretty well so I’ll eyeball it five eight years approximately not sure like I said “eyeballing” it.subject2safety well it’s hasn’t made my tank become a boiling pot of loach food so that’s a plus and it hasn’t burnt up,melted, exploded, glass or heater either or shattered, hasn’t,stopped working, cord or heater electrocuted the fish and hasn’t busted the tank which is 35 gallon bowfront aquarium to pieces like a ticking time bomb and thickness of this cheap heater well it seems to be the last time I put it in and also had felt it which I touched it because I was trying to see if it was working yes it is still working and I have three thermometers on the tank one inside of the tank and reads the temperature outside the tank it’s the one that it comes with and this is not gonna blow up in my hands or fish tank question NO it’s not gonna be so cheap that’s it’s gonna be like a cracker this if you ask me is 4th or 5th in the top five list of best heaters on the aquariumist market 1st being eheim 2nd fluval 3rd being probably United because I searched it up and so….any way fourth being I guess yes orlushy brand and fifth I guess because my mother’s tetra fish heater didn’t stop working or melt I’ll put Tetra in at 5th place because well that’s what I’ve SOMEWHAT have experience on anyway great heater highly recommended and will be buying another one of this or another variant if this brand this brand has really surprised me yet….but for now yes great heater Godbless!

Nice heater, comes with thermometer too
Works great so far, have had it for about a week and it accurately stays at the temp I set, love that it comes with a thermometer as well!

Works well
I have it in a 5 Gallon aquarium. It holds the temp around 78 degrees even though its in a pretty cold room.Very easy to set up and the chord is pretty long too.

Fixed Temperature Control
I purchased this heater as a replacement since my last heater finally gave out. The heater itself does its job, it heats the water to temp and keeps it somewhat to where it’s set. It was a great addition having the temp probe and digital readout. I have tested it against another heater’s internal control and mercury thermometer and it seems to be mostly accurate. My only issue, and reason for giving this thermometer a four star review, is because the temperature dial on the top of the heater, are the ONLY temperatures you may choose to heat your aquarium. It is not variable, or adjustable. I found if I set the heater to 75, the tank would sit around 72, and if set to 79, it will stay at 79. The seven degree swing seemed rather large IMO. Like I said, the temp is not variable, and if the selector on the heater is not lined up with a number, the heater will not turn on at all or heat the aquarium. All in all it does its job, but if you want variability when selecting a temperature, spend a little extra money and buy a heater with that option.

500W big enough for 55 gallon
I originally bought a 300W aquarium heater for my 55 gallon aquarium. (A different brand) It said it was good from 40-55 gallons. I installed it and "maxed it out" at 89 degrees, but my aquarium would only get to 66.5 degrees on the other side of the aquarium opposite the heater. This was simply too chilly for my fishies. (I have a freshwater tropical set up with mostly Tetras) I sized up to the Orlushy 500w which was substantially larger in size compared to the 300W heater and I now have no problem heating my aquarium into the 80's if need be. I believe this one advertises that it will heat from 50-80 gallon. Learn from my mistake and go with the 500W heater if you have a 55 gallon or larger to get proper heating. Orlushy was the only one (I saw) that provided the larger sized 500W heater. Price was great and product looks good in the aquarium. I don't think my fish would have made it through the cold winter with out it. Because of the ridiculous cost of (even freshwater tropical fish) now a days... you don't want to chance them all dying for something that doesn't cost that much! In my opinion. Hope this helps!

Works as should
Works great! Makes the take not look so great but does its job. The little thermometer doesn’t come with instructions so it was a guessing game. But it was not to hard to figure out. Put the little black prong in the tank and the digital thermometer on the outside side on the tank! Not quite sure how accurate it is yet but I’ll see in a few days
