of all ages (kids love it too)
This is my go-to book for all my piano students. For beginning students, of all ages (kids love it too), the first section is easy enough for them to accomplish rapidly, which is nice for Christmas. Most early students want a book they can just pick up and play. Sections 2 and 3 are based on I, IV, and V chords, which I teach from the very beginning of piano training. At the start of each of these two sections, there is an excellent explanation of the chords used. It is so clear – truly superb – that students could learn the chord theory on their own. Knowing chord theory makes all songs so, so much easier to play. Note: I also use this book to teach improvisation to my intermediate and advanced students. I like every one of my students to have a copy, because the book is that good. This book also has the widest and most useful selection of songs I have seen for the price. Excellent book. Hint: My other favorite Christmas series for students is the Dozen a Day Christmas books. They are excellent, and I use them for students who want to really work on something. This book, the Adult Piano Adventures Christmas, is more all-purpose. It is both fun and perfect for foundational teaching. I wish I could give it 6 stars.

Piano Teacher's Favorite Xmas Book
I recommend these books to all of my music teachers and my students. This book, book 1 of a set of 2, is perfect for beginners through level 2A. Book 2 is perfect for students, level 2b and higher. I prefer this "adult" collection for all ages of my students, rather than having them buy the kid's versions of Christmas books, because these have a much larger selection of the most popular songs. I like my students to invest in books that they can use for a lifetime, rather than just a year. These songs are easy enough that a student in their first year could learn a lot of them, and still not feel too challenged when playing them for family and friends. I've had many students choose to learn them all and record a fun album to give to their family and friends for Christmas. I would say this set of books (volumes 1&2) have been the most highly valued, utilized, and recommended set of books in my two Conservatories of Music for years. They are written in easy keys and hands positions for comfort and ease of playing.

Very well arranged pieces
Great selection of classics. I'm a beginner piano player, less than a year at this point. I love how these are arranged. They sound really beautiful and are easy to learn/play.

Amazing arrangements, too hard for faber adult book 1
Amazing Christmas book - my favorite in fact. However, the skill level doesn’t line up with the majority of the faber level it’s listed at (adult 1).

good for the advanced beginner and up
I'm at page 120 in book one in the Faber All in One for Adult Piano. This book has several songs above where I'm currently able to play, but there are plenty in there that you can play and enjoy even if you're not done with the first book yet. The first section is the easiest of the three, and is good sight reading practice. I'm having quite a bit of fun playing the songs in the second section. The 12 Days of Christmas and Good King Wenceslaus are my favorites right now and are neither easy nor entirely out of reach with practice and timing. This book rounds out the practices in the Adult series and provides complete songs and not just short themes from longer pieces. I'm glad I purchased this book.

Great for Pianist and Singers.
I've gotten the book for 10 of my students this year. It is a great resource for both pianist and singers. For the pianist it will last them several years as their skills improve. For the singers it gives them multiple verses of the songs. This makes it a great book for students who want to learn a few songs and play for their family (or even for church) for Christmas. [For the next edition I wish all the songs came with guitar chords... and were pitched a little more singer friendly -- some are pretty high. But over all, great book.)
