This year is our first year with a fake tree. The tree looks realistic except for the lack of scent. To remedy that, I ordered a spray that was very expensive and the smell lingered for seven or eight hours. With this candle, however, I burned it for about four hours and three days later, the room still smells great. I have not bought Yankee candles very often because of the expense. But in this case, the price is well worth the satisfaction of having a Christmas tree scent permeate the room. Also, the scent was more realistic than the spray, and the candle was delivered much faster than the spray.

The scent is strong - really fills up the room with a woodsy, holiday vibe that I love. It's like bringing a bit of the outdoors inside, especially nice since I live in the city. The candle burns evenly too, so it feels like I'm getting my money's worth. However, if you're not into stronger scents, this might be a bit much in smaller spaces. Overall, super happy with this purchase - it's like a little escape to the woods whenever I light it up.

The plug-ins for this delightful scent have vanished from the shelves. But here's my little secret: I've stockpiled enough to last me a decade! Yep, every time I hit Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I swept their stock clean.Now, Yankee Candle often promotes their Balsam Cedar scent as a festive alternative. But let me tell you, it's not the same. It’s like comparing a dense, dark forest to the light, airy feel of a winter wonderland. Balsam Cedar is too intense, missing that sweet, heavenly touch that Mistletoe nails perfectly.It's fascinating how scents can divide opinions. Mistletoe and Balsam Cedar seem to have their own fan clubs. It all boils down to personal preference – what one nose finds enchanting, another might not.For me, though, Mistletoe will always be the scent that captures the magic of Christmas, with its perfect blend of festive cheer and fragrant fir.

The scent is perfection in matching that of a Christmas tree, and lighting just one sends the scent through every room except the farthest guest bedroom. Pretty amazing.

Purchases this candle for Christmas since I put up an artificial tree. I wanted the house to smell like a fresh Christmas tree was in the house. The candle stayed lite the entire day but I could barely smell the fragrance. I was a little disappointed that it didn’t fill the area with a stronger smell. Every now and then I could smell a light hint of pine. For the price I was hoping for a little more otherwise I could have bought a less expensive candle with no smell.

Yankee Candles are well made and have very nice scents.

This candle has the most realistic scent for its name. You can take a walk through the woods on a cold winter day as I often did with my Golden Retrievers, then walk in the house and think you never left the woods. This candle is an essential in our house, as I think it is in most of northern New England, Canada, and other states that make up the top of the lower forty-eight states. It is not just for Christmas and doesn’t even have to be lit to find a small whiff of woodland scent in the air. Even in the dead heat of summer this fragrance brings on a cooling rush of calm.

These candles have gone up in price but often throughout the year go on sale. Keep an eye out as they are worth it. Great aroma and they last way longer than any other candle I’ve bought.
