I love my Keiser M3i.
Assembly of the Keiser m3i was easy, but the packaging took over an hour to remove. A lower corner of the packaging was torn off when delivered, but the double level packaging assured that no cycle components were damaged. The M3i makes no sound I can hear in use, is very comfortable to ride, and has needed no repairs since purchase. The unique design or the crank arms has increased my upper leg muscle strength.Use of the industry standard pedal and seat attachments has allowed simple replacement of those items to meet my specific needs. The supplied computer provides all the data I want to evaluate my exercise, including current and average ride rpm, accumulated ride kilo calories, ride time, ride miles, and life time odometer.Odometer on my M3i indicated over 16000 miles in July 2023. When purchased, I only rode the M3i about 3 times a week, alternating with road cycles and other forms of exercise. Currently I ride the M3i 18 odom. miles every day I am home. I am the sole user.I am over 80 years old, was an active road cyclist from age 5 to age 78 but ended road riding in 2021 because of heat prostration (most days here reach over 90 degrees). Now, any exercise has to be in air conditioning. I cannot stand or walk without crutches or other support or control my ankle, which means my feet must be placed on cycle pedals centered under my heels with foot angled upwards on outside edge. Because of this I cannot use cycle shoes or the Keiser pedals but must wear flat soled shoes on flat pedals. Leg injuries require that i wear tight padded cycle shorts when sitting on a cycle saddle.I was an active outdoor cyclist from age 5 to 79, and have owned and used many types, brands and qualities of road cycles, as well as other exercise devices such as fan and friction resistance indoor cycles, other cycle exercise machines and other exercise devices (weight lifting and treadmill). All have now been discarded. The M3i far exceeds them all in quality and design, an better fits my current needs.

Great spin bike. Worth the price. Q factor is perfect for an average sized American.
Very high quality - health club/gym level. For personal at home use it'll last forever. Shipping packaging was the best I've ever seen, removing the packaging took longer than the assembly. Needless to say it arrived in perfect condition and Keisers assembly video along with the printed instructions made assembly (by one person) very easy. Bike looks like a work of art and is silent when riding. The bike is adjustable and the ride is smooth. Another review complained about the Q factor - that's nonsense, the Q factor is fine for average people only elite small framed European Tour D France riders will want a smaller Q factor. You get what you pay for in this case.

Super high quality bike.
This is by far the best spin bike I have ever ridden, I have done hundreds of classes in different gyms for the past 15 years. When I got this bike about a year ago I was worried about the quality having never ridden this brand. Now I will say it’s worth the cost. My wife and I use it at least every week and usually a few times each week. It is very easy to set up if you are handy at all. It is slightly heavy but that is a good thing in my opinion. I would say that it is silent but if you listen you can actually hear a slight hum, the sound is nothing that can be heard from more than a few feet away.If you are the only user it is great because of the hand screws that hold the seat post and neck in place. My wife and i are close enough in size that we do not have to change the position. If you have users of different size it would be a very slight inconvenience but still worth it due to the strength this feature adds vs some other styles and the handlebar and saddle are easy to adjust. The on-board computer is good, and it also connects to an app that is better and tracks start time, duration, average power in watts, average cadence, average heart rate(with a connected monitor), caloric burn, energy output in Kj and distance. It will not connect to Zwift at this time but I am told they are working on that.I keep ours in a corner of the room on a heavy mat but we use it in the center of the room with Vids on the T.V. and it is easy to move on our wood floors. I have never tried to roll it on carpet or other surfaces but it has two roughly 3 inch wheel that it pivots on to move. The wheels are high quality and look a little like the wheels for a in line skate. In short I love this bike and consider it a friend. I not only would recommend it but have.

Cheaper alternative to Peloton
I got this bike to use with the Peloton app. It's pretty expensive even refurbished, but cheaper than a Peloton and everyone says it's a better quality bike. I hired someone to put it together and it went quickly. It's very quiet and sturdy. I had only done a few spin classes prior so I can't compare it to anything else. If I don't like spinning it will be easy to sell, why I got a Keiser. It is taking a while to figure out how to use the m3i app, downloading the data, syncing with other devices, and all that -- that is the path when you go off brand. But there is lots of friendly online support. It takes a while for your butt to get used to the saddle so I'm easing into the data side of it. I am replacing the saddle with one that has a cut out in the middle. My sit bones are getting used to the saddle it but the fleshy bits are definitely not. Otherwise I'm pleasantly surprised at how easy and motivating it is to use regularly and how quickly improvement comes. If you have money to burn get a Peloton, but otherwise I prefer the flexibility of a Keiser with a much cheaper monthly Peloton subscription and the ability to use other apps should they come along. And to use my tablet for multiple other things besides the rides.
