Replacement Eaton Fuller 18 Speed Air Shifter Knob A-6918 OEM Quality

Bought this because it was the cheapest I could find, and was planning on converting it to a shifter For American Truck Simulator.Seems well built, solid feel. I can't speak to the inner construction functionality, as I drilled through air channels anyways.The only complaints I have are relatively minor. The screws that hold the lower shroud on are silver, round and relatively cheap looking. The other is the splitter doesnt have that satisfying "click". The piece that pushes over the ball inside is plastic. All in all , a great buy for certain uses. Not a trucker, so can't speak to the intended use.

It works for what I used it for which was for American truck simulator

I bought this 18 speed knob to modify it, drilled a few holes into it. Wired buttons and switches to it. I'm about 1/2 way through modifying it to be used on European truck simulator and American truck simulator.Being able to take an actual item and make it into a computer peripheral with a couple extras (button intended for trailer brakes, engine brake.) is a major positive.it's cheaper to use this product and do the legwork than to buy a gaming peripheral, also gives me the ability to personalize it with where I want things to be.The mounting capabilities for the G29 shifter is not native. Looking into building a shaft that can mount onto the G29 and set to lock the knob securely.Will most likely order another one later on when I decide to improve it.

I put it in but it won't let me shift the lower gears. I would not recommend this product ,it simply does not work correctly
