Macroeconomics: Understanding the Global Economy 3rd Edition

I bought this book for my Macroeconomics course for my MBA. The book is really good since it covers all aspects related with GDP, business cycles, monetary and fiscal policies, inflation and unemployment, and so on. It's an easy reading, with recent information and data not only from US but also from other countries. Must read for those who are interested in business.

Physically: the book I got is beat to hell and looks like a crossword puzzle in the back of a 4 month old airline magazine.Content: horrible. Essentially shows you 1+1=2, then the homework problems ask you to do calculus.

"Understanding the global economy". The book looks at much detail and offers little help to those who wish to see "the big picture"...the global view. It is like learning about motor cars by learning about the components; you might not be able to tell what the whole car did. It might be useful alongside a book that stepped back from the detail and looked at the whole economic system or to someone who already understood it.

My macroeconomics teacher for university was a real pain in the 'you know what' and this book was far better at expalining concepts than he ever was. This saved my life and i got a first in the end so was worth the money.

One of the best book I' ve ever read about macroeconomics. It fully expalins how global economy works and gives you food for thought about the shape of the global economy in the coming years
