what a geat acceessory to our cooktop!
I have used this gridde just a few times now, but what an amazing accessory that expands the usefullness of my Jennair range. It is so easy to use, and to clean, and food tastes great, too. Salmon never tasted so good from the oven. Grilled sandwiches come to life on the griddle. Really, can't say enough good things about it. It's fun, and it looks really good besides. Wish i found out about this before. But i only heard about it when researching for the grill attachments, and like so many have said elsewhere, who needs the grill when you have the griddle? So glad i got turned on to this thing, and if you are on the fence, i think you will really like it.

My very own flat-top!
From the first time I lit it up, I absolutely loved the 48" Jenn Air cooktop we put in during our kitchen renovation, with one exception: the grill. They get dirty and are hard to get clean, and they let the pan underneath them get dirty as well. The solution? The griddle accessory. Anything that gets under it to the pan is going to be in one spot, which makes that cleanup task easy. The griddle itself just gets thrown in the sink and washed. But the real plus is that special crispy cooking it puts on stuff. I stuck the grills in the cabinet under the stove, but honestly, I might as well have stashed them in a dark corner of the basement. They're unlikely to be used ever again.

Awesome fix to the useless grill!
We bought a house that had the most ridiculous stove top, 2 gas burners and the filthiest indoor grill that would make anyone gag. For 5 years I’ve glared at it lack of functionality. I would never grill inside- and we grill (outside) almost daily. So, we looked into the replacement cartridge to give us 2 more burners but the cost seemed silly for a 15 year old stove with filth so imbedded I simply cannot clean it. When I came upon this it seemed like a reasonably priced solution to at least make that half useable and hide the burned on mess below. It looks awesome and works even better. I’ve warmed tortillas on it, made pancakes on it- totally stick proof and easy peasy cleanup. Now I can delay replacing the stove a few more years.

Griddle fit perfectly.
Arrived quickly and it works great and is of high quality. I'm glad to have this option on my range and it is fantastic for breakfasts. You can do your pancakes, bacon, and eggs, all at once. It takes a little longer to heat up then you might expect but I believe that has more to do with the power of my gas range. Very easy to clean as well.

WOW
It never made sense to me that my Jenn-Air range had 2 eyes with no heat control, and the grill that came with it just didn't work that well. On the advice of my appliance repairman (I called him to see if he could retro-fit something so that I could use those eyes), I ordered this. And it has literally changed my life: my husband loves it so much that he cooks breakfast for the family every morning - four months running so even after the "newness" has worn off. Maybe he has a future career as a short order cook? Regardless, it is wonderful for breakfast, grilled cheese, quesadillas, dogs and burgers, etc. Easy to clean and no complaints. Just remember to clean out your grease trap to prevent a mess on the floor!

Why does this have holes?
This is the most poorly designed griddle ever! Why are there holes in the drip pan? The only purpose that serves is to start a fire. What a terrible design. Don't try to cook anything that has any oils in it - they will drip right out.

What a time saver!
We leave it in place most of the time because we rarely need more than two burners, so instead of having to get a frying pan and deal with cleaning that in the sink, we just heat the griddle and clean it in place when it has cooled off a bit. I use a silicone spatula to scrape any grease or food particles to one side wipe it up while still warm enough to remove easily. When the grill has cooled off completely, I spray a mixture of 25% white vinegar and water and wipe it off. Next time it’s used, I’ll give it a very light coat of oil before warming it up to keep it seasoned. No sticking issues. The only negatives are that it automatically turns the stove fan on, which is too loud and can cause the griddle to vibrate but with some jiggling the vibration has lessened.
