Looks great but batteries have not lasted as long as exp cited and there is no external power socket, so batteries only…..

I purchased this item in September last year, tested it out and everything seemed fine so I boxed it back up and left it in a safe place until December when I was intending to use it over the Christmas period. I started using it from December 1st onwards and it only lasted for 8 days in total before it gave up the ghost and did not work again. Before it broke down the switch went stiff so it was difficult to switch on and off and eventually it would not operate when switched on or on the timer mode. So, I tried to contact Konstsmide (as requested by Amazon self service assistant) by phone and their number was unobtainable so I emailed them on numerous occasions and they NEVER responded to any of my emails even though they read them which is very unprofessional and shows poor service. This also left me feeling rather upset and disgusted. If I had the chance I would like another of the same model to replace the one I have as the little dog on it with Santa reminds me of my dog as it looks like her. I thought it was a very beautiful designed ornament which appealed to me. I'm sure the same thing couldn't happen a second time if I had the option of another one. A very dissatisfied customer with regards to this item!

Small but pretty. Gives a nice glow. Has a timer setting if needed.

The lantern was a great colour and the effect was good, but when switching it on the fan that moves the glitter around was catching and noisey, so we had to return it.

These little lanterns are very effective and give a lovely warm glow in the dead of winter and brighten up Christmas 😍
