This is the best tube we have ever owned. The design makes it easy for everyone to hold on with multiple handle options for all passengers. It has yet to tip over so if you are looking for the thrill of falling off, this isn't the tube for you. It takes waves so well we can go feet off the water without it tipping and still continue with the ride. The kids love it and it makes me feel more comfortable when they are out on the water. The back part is a little small so your feet at times may hang in the water. My 11 year old prefers the back saying it's even more fun than the front though. The design of the tube allows it to easily be secured on our particular boat - I feel like it takes up less room. Overall a 5 star rating and worth every penny!

This tube is great for pulling behind any boat or jet ski. It has plenty of room to fit up to 4 adults easily. Like most tubes, just make sure you get a long enough tow rope to be far enough out of the white wash water from the boat motor, otherwise the tuber will get splashed in the face a lot. The tube is also large enough to just lay on in the water. The front rope tie hook is also a nice feature. The tube takes a good bit of air to fill up so you almost need a decent air compressor to fill it. It would be very time consuming to fill with a hand or foot pump.

I was just looking at these again for my brother who's buying a pontoon. Here's what I was just telling him: The switchback is awesome for 3 or 4 kids. They switch between chariot in the back and sit down in the front. My 13 year old son will bring a friend and my 15 year old daughter will, too. So, the girls will go in the front for a while while the boys ride chariot style in the back and then it's a switch and vice versa. The bad news is this tube isn't good for just 2 people. Like other reviewers noted and it's true- it sinks and plows under with just 2 people on the front sitting. In my mind the tube deserves 5 stars because it really is designed for more than 2 people. The quality is awesome, by the way. The stitching is HEAVY duty. We have 3 different style tubes. This is the only one that doesn't lose air over time. We've had this tube for 2 year and had it out on the water for countless hours, so I feel this review is fair

This is a great tube for children! Pulled behind a wakeboard boat it is very hard to sling them around if they are riding in the front (which is good for younger kids). But it’s a whole new ball game if someone is on the back. This thing is huge. My kids love it. Giving 4 stars due to a leak somewhere after first use. I’m sure it will be a pain to take the inner tube out, repair and stuff back in.

So, I'm one of those lame people who never leaves reviews (sorry), but we love this tube so much that I'm making an exception. We've had it for about a month and regularly take our kids and their friends, who generally are ages 9-14, on it. They all love it. Like seriously love it. In fact,we've had 2 friends buy it after their kids tubed with us. It's just the right balance of sturdy and daring. (I'll admit to having gone on it myself-- it's fun for grown-ups too.) We've successfully towed 2,3,4, and 5 kids. We have not tried just 1. My only caution would be that if you only have riders on the front, it might submerge if you are going slowly. Best tube we've had!

We used this the first time last weekend and everyone had a blast on it. It can be a little tricky on the back to hang on since it’s a little small back there but once we put more air in it, it was a little easier. Everyone had a blast on it. Worth the buy and was cheaper here than everywhere online and in the marinas.

Second time we have purchased this tube. We use it often and store outside in the summer but it lasts us the whole season. The last one got us through 2 seasons but was on it's last leg which is to be expected with outdoor storage in the hot sun. I would love it if they sold a protector to go over it.

We are very dissatisfied with this item the Airhead Switchback. We’ve used it 2 times and we are not happy with the stability and ease of use. Once deflated the internal blaster twist and mis-conforms to the outer cover. I had to attempt to reach inside of the inflater flap to untwist and arrange it into the proper configuration. When riding 2 or 4, front or back it sinks in the rear and front. We are requesting it to be returned. We understand we have had it in excess of 30 days however, we’re not able to boat every weekend.
