Perlick 630SS Stainless Steel Draft Beer Faucet (2-(Pack))

I bought this as an upgrade to my EdgeStar Triple Tap Kegerator. With the stock taps, on some beers, if you don't use them often enough, they get sticky. One day after being gone for about 10 days on a business trip, I came back, and it was really stuck. I did what I knew i shouldn't do--try to force it. That resulted in my breaking off the tap and then a lot of fun quickly cutting off the CO2 supply and depressurizing the keg as beer flowed. :)That was the last straw for me. I knew there had to be a better solution, so after some searching, finding others who ran into the sticking tap problem, all recommending these Perlick faucets. That was enough for me. I ordered.I've now had them for about a month, and I can confirm that they solve the sticky tap problem perfectly. This is nice, but it doesn't work for me. Why? Because the closed position is angled backwards, and I have a custom tap handle with a wall installation. The tap handle hits the wall and leaves a mark, plus it makes a loud sound every time. Keep this in mind if your tap is mounted on a wall or has something behind it...I wasn't aware of this when I bought it or I never would have.EDIT: If you do have a wall mount you can make it work by ordering a separate "angle bonnett" to angle the tap handle away from the wall.

These faucets are absolutely perfect. NO more stickiness; always smooth to open and close, even after not using for a couple weeks. No corrosion after heavy use, and they look Awesome. Easy to clean. You may be questioning the cost of $40-50. Trust me, it's worth it. You'll never buy another faucet again. I bought three for all my taps. If you ever change your set up, you'll re-use these taps. They are forever. If I could say that they even make your beer taste better, I would, but that would be hyperbole.

Excellent tap, easily cleaned, and not prone to sticking or fouling.As compared with "conventional" taps, these operate much more nicely with super fit, finish and feel.The stainless version of this is also impervious to acidic liquids, and never prone to imparting off flavors.

This is a replacement of a faucet I had on my kegerator. I decided to replace the original faucet after the original one stuck a few times. This can be idle for a few weeks and not stick, where the old one would stick, and be hard to move. I've since bought a 2nd one to upgrade the second tap on my kegerator. I wanted to try it out before upgrading the other faucet. It was a no brainer to upgrade the 2nd faucet to this, I'm happy I did it.

These are the Draft Faucets you are looking for. They cost more than the cheepo ones, but that's why you are here - to replace the cheepo ones. Absolutely a MUCH better design, they will not stick due to the simplicity of their design no matter what type of beer you have on tap. I asked a buddy who has a tap room in his basement and he said, without hesitation, these are the only faucets you will ever need and he was right. The look is cool and the P logo adds a nice touch. I just can't get over how well these work - I broke one of the taps that came with my double tap kegerator because it was stuck and wish I had broken it sooner so I would have been forced to buy these earlier. Great purchase, no sticking!

I've been using the Perlick faucets for 6 years now and they are fantastic. They stay much cleaner than the traditional valves and they are easy to maintain. I had the older model with the undersized o-rings and they would leak from time to time but this new version has much more substantial seals. I liked them so much I replaced all my old style faucets.

Great quality. I had this in my list for awhile and regret waiting this long to get. Old faucet would get stuck. So the first pour after a while you would have to "break" it free. This pours so smooth and no sticking!!! Simple to install (unscrew old, screw in new).
