Easy install no issues thus far

Dropped it less than 3 feet off ground while installing and now needle never drops to 0 psi even when zero pressure. It’s only good for estimated pressure readings.

Plastic, but otherwise good quality. What I expected

I've only had it for a couple of months. After the first rain tge gauge had condensation on the inside, making it hard to read the gauge.

I think it reads a little lower pressure than our last one, but I'm not a hundred percent sure of that. Our old one had numbers every five pounds where this one has numbers for every ten pounds and I prefer the old configuration better, but this is still easy to read. It was easy to install.

You get what you pay for. I'm fine with this product and will just plan to buy a new one every year. None of these ever work well for me, regardless of brand (though I have never bought an expensive one). By the end of the summer, they have water in them, and are pretty iffy about accurate pressure.I don't worry about pressure the way I used to when I was new to pool ownership - there are plenty of other ways to tell if your pressure has changed, like how fast the water goes into the skimmer, how hard it is to pull the filter out when the pump is running, how strong the flow is when the water goes into the pool.I don't mind buying a 3-star product in this type of situation. I see it as part of the annual cost of having a pool. I don't want to spend a bunch on an expensive one just to have it do the same. Plus, for all I know, it's my situation that causes this to get water in it, not the product.

I broke the gauge on my pool filter because of a careless toss to the ground of the top cover when cleaning it (the filter). The gauge did not actually break off; only the face plate was shattered. Since the damage didn't cause any water leakage when the pump was running, I just left it that way for a while. One day I tripped across this one from Poolmaster, and since it was so cheap, I decided to replace my broken one with this one. It has worked like a champ. It was easy to put on, although the round face was slightly larger than the old one, so when I was screwing it on it slightly rubbed on the sides of the cover. I also put plumber's tape on the threads to ensure it sealed properly. I've had it on for about two weeks now and it continues to work great. I highly recommend this for the price.
