I bought this before going on a roadtrip to pick up my puppies (6 months old at the time), and they rode comfortably for 10 hours, plus I felt assured and more confident knowing that they would be secure in a seat and feel more comfortable and safe. They had a bit of car sickness and the car seat caught up all of the mess and was easy to rinse and wash out. I would recommend for puppies and toy-small breeds. It is durable and comfy, but one downside is it's not very sturdy. My pups grew out of their car seat in less than a month! Which is sad because they looked so adorable in it, but now they're getting bigger and have much more energy and curiosity, so I can't keep them seated any longer.

This car seat cover works great if you keep it folded down and use it as a car seat cover only. I've folded it up into a box for my 25lb beagle to sit in and he likes it fine. It's not super sturdy but I just wanted something to contain him and keep him safe if he curls up for a nap. It's a great size for a small/medium dog. My issue is that the seams have already come apart and exposed the foam core. I've only used this product a few times and it should not have come apart so easily. It's too bad because I would have bought another for my husband's car if it was more durable.

We have a 40lb dog that fits in this perfectly and it's easy to install and remove. I only have two complaints that warranted a 4 star rating instead of 5 - The front of the cover doesn't have any strap to hold it forward on the seat so it starts to move back, reducing the dog's space. The other issue is the strap tightening and loosening device on the back strap is a pain to extend or tighten if using on different size seats. If they fixed those two pieces, it would be a 5 star review because the cover is great and has protected my seats from a car sick puppy already, so it's definitely worth the money.

Bought this to replace a booster seat that my dog outgrew. That one supported his weight and allowed him to see out of the window and provided a sturdy point to attach a leash. This one is a flimsy piece of absolute crap. We were in a bind so I kept it and placed a suitcase and towels under it to support it. After the trip it went in the trash.

Easy to install but ripped after the first use. Also the top strap is not long enough to go around the whole headrest, but one pole. I only keep it because it’s easy to remove for when we have people in the back seat.

When I opened the package I thought I made a big mistake in buying this. I took my time and looked it over and figure out what the zippers were for and all those straps. I think a lot of people over thought this product, there are no instructions but it is easy to install in the car or truck, I wish it had come with a safety leash (short leash that you loop a seat belt through and hitch to your pup's collar)feature but I had a couple of those so, not a problem. So basically you zip the 2 zippers (they do not line up) now you have a thing that looks like a box with a long end on one side, place the box on the car seat, push the fold into the seat space between the back of and the bottom part of the seat, use the included tube to keep it tucked in. seat belt the cover in place, run the seat belt where the zippers connect. Wrap the top strap around the seat and fasten. You're done. We added a heart beat / heated pillow a pad and a little blanket for our new puppy for the trip home.
