TalkSheets to Confirm the Faith of Your Teenagers: 52 Ready-to-Use Discussions

This was the single most useful, helpful and reliable resource I used this last year for confirmation. I love the progression of topics from week to week, the flow of the lessons from light, interesting questions to more weighty issues of faith and the helpful teaching points for preparation. Getting set up is also very quick. It helps that each page you are given permission to copy. I saved each sheet each week after Sunday School, put them together and then gave them back to the students to help them write their statements of faith. You could also buy each student a book if you want. I'm so glad I bought this and you will be too when you buy it.

This is an amazing book. I'm going to teach a confirmation class next year and this has so many worksheets (2 on confirmation, one of God's Attributes, one on Whom Do You Follow, one on the Holy Spirit, one on We Are the Body of Christ, one on Communion, one of gifts, one on the bible, one on listening to God Speaking, one on Sanctification, one on Your Life's Purpose, one on Stewardship, and one on Prayer) that I plan to incorporate into my class. I have some of the other books in this series but I really LOVE this one. Great approach.

I'm new to being involved with Youth and the kids I work with generally don't talk much...or at all. This was a great no-pressure tool to prompt thoughtful discussions as a group where no one was wrong and everyone participated.The only thing I'd change: I wish there was an index for specific issues. I'd like to have an index that lists key words alphabetically for easy planning.

Not all of us pastors are really cut out for Junior High youth. This product helps a lot with those of us who are junior high challenged but still need to do ministry in that area. They give both direction and focus and are great for doing small group discussion after the teaching.

These lessons are broken down into specific units, (i.e. Questions about God, Jesus, the Bible, Salvation) allow for great depth and discussion when used in a weekly format setting. They ask thought provoking questions and provide solid answers to foundational faith issues. Great handouts and easy to use leader guide.
