IgenixIG9509 Portable Upright Halogen Electric Heater, 2 Bar Quartz Electrical Heater, Safety Tip Over Switch, Ideal for Small Rooms, Caravans and Garages, 800 W, White

This is not as good as the last heater I bought with similar specs, sadly no longer available. This is cheap and lightweight, much flimsier, and I hate that safety tip-over switch. I don't need it and it means faffing around to switch it on, because it doesn't always seem to work the way it should. But it does the job.

The heater is as described. The only complaint is the plug. My plugs are low down and the thick cable at the bottom of the plug stops me putting where I wanted it to be.

I regret buying the product as it packed up within 3 months of my purchasing it. The two globes got burnt out within 3 months and I cannot make use of the Halogeen heater again.Please note that this is the 2nd time I am buying the product on Amazon and the same thing happened each time . The first heater was bought from Amazon on the 22nd of May 2022 and by January 2023 -it had stopped working the 2 globes have burnt out in 8 months . The second Igenix heater was also bought from Amazon and was delivered 27th January 2023 but again this lasted 3 months only and has now burnt out.I believe that I need to be compensated for the 2 sales or the 2 globes replaced, I dont think I would ever like to purchase the product again,

Great heat for such a lightweight. Lights up the whole room! When switching on the heat it doesn’t always appear, but you need to make sure it’s sitting completely flat & underneath button is sitting clicked on. They’ve recently changed the design of this model but wasn’t near as good (very dull heat). I had to return & managed to find the original model which they no longer make. I bought 3 as it’s a pity I’ll no longer be able to replace with the same in the future.

it’s very light, as i expected it is pretty lame for heat output but i knew that when it was bought, you do need to be close to it to feel warmer so probably not best for warming large spaces, especially with today’s fuel prices, i was using it right next to me

Nice heater but I'm not sure if they are really halogen. The glass tube is open ended with a filament running through it. I thought halogen tubes should be a sealed unit. Maybe I'm wrong?The down side is that the tubes are not user replaceable. I have two of these heaters and each has one failed tube.It's a shame as otherwise, it's a great heater.

This item gives out an impressive amount of heat for the size.
