First impressions upon opening box and examining the light unit is how well constructed and robust it appears to be.Very easy to set up and mount using the hanging kit provided. I was pleased to find comprehensive user guide and importantly a UK 3 pin plug.Although designed to be used as a hydroponics grow light I have been using in on a heavily planted aquarium which requires a high output full spectrum lighting unit. At 600w this unit is very powerful and emits a very high output with high blue and red spectrum needed for optimum growth.I have been running the light for 10hrs a day and have been very impressed by how cool the unit remains due to the built in fan. The fan itself is amazingly quiet and barely audible unless up close.Since swapping over to this light I have noticed plants have been putting out stronger roots as well as better growth on stems combined with Co2 injection and good ferts this has seen a huge rise in pearling off plants. This is an important process that takes place under optimum conditions needed for photosynthesis.All in I am very happy with the product and would buy from seller again.PROS: Well constructedHigh outputHigh end LED ChipsExcellent Cooling capabilityCONS: Power cable to shortNon Dimmable unit

Good light for growing. Fan noise is ok. Been working non stop now for 10 weeks and showing no signs of failure. Only criticism is that there is no veg/bloom switch. I have three other Wakyme lights - same size and similar price which do have the veg/bloom switch. These are small light arrays so make sure you have enough height in your grow room to get a good light spread - ideally they should remain 2-3 feet above the plants.

I have raised so many plants using the growlight, and i move them to a coldframe bit by bit.Bedding Dahlia seeds, sowed12 Feb now 6 inches high and planted out 7 April after hardening in cold framesuccessful with begonia seeds too, 60 plants doing wellGeranium seed sowed 7 Feb also doing well.Other succeses sweet peppers excellent .But best of all, 40 fi hybrid tomatoes vitador sowed 3 March now 20cms high and strong stems.These are the best results that I have had in 40 years of gardening.I am still learning how to use the growlight, but I would not do without it in the future.What a difference from using a propagator at the window, and those thin seedlings trying to survive.

I needed a second light to take the strain of the one small one i already have. I looked around at alot of them, even looked again at the one I've got now, but found this one and I haven't looked back!It has 60 leds which give off a great full spectrum light, see the photo left is my old light and right is the new light.You can see the purplish light wash over the room and drowns out the more white light from my other grow light. I have 2 plants under each and since putting it in I have noticed the plants responded well to the extra light and are very happy indeed.The quality of the light great too, it's got some weight so you know its good but not so heavy you can't hang it. In the box you get a UK 3 pin power lead, the led grow light, a little book that's worth a read lol, and the hanging equipment which by the way doesn't come with most other lights.I've had it running 12/12 for the past 5 or so days and its not missed a beat, the girls love it, is definitely slightly quieter than my other led grow light, uses around 120watts true(cheap to run but it will give great results) and has the hanging kit included that's like an extra £5 on its own and you do need it.

So the wording of the Product Spec is misleading and suggest it has both a veg and flower setting but it's just the one function. After a day of using it my tomato plants have not taken to it as well as they did to a 100w cfl bulb! Hopefully things improve. After a day one of the bulbs has stopped working as well.

Good brightness and a decent solid build, however the 600w has a very small surface area and would only cover 1 plant

Ive bought 3 of these lights and half the LEDs on all stopped working. They have all had roughly 1500 hours of use. Not worth the money

I'm growing seedlings and the lamp works great. Easy to hang, great light, no heat, works as expected
