This Olaplex shampoo is one of the best hair products I have ever used. From the first washes, I noticed my hair felt softer, stronger, and much healthier. It really helps repair damage and leaves my hair smooth and shiny without weighing it down.The formula is gentle but very effective, and a little bit goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than expected. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have a strong or unpleasant scent, and it works well even on color-treated hair.Overall, this shampoo is worth every penny. It has truly improved the look and feel of my hair, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants healthier, stronger, and more beautiful hair.

This shampoo lathers easily and creates plenty of bubbles. It keeps my hair feeling fresh longer and soft than other shampoos I’ve tried, and the scent is amazing too. I’d say the only downside is that the bottle is a bit small for the price.

I was a little worried that this product would be too heavy for my thin, fine 3A curly hair, but the reviews of the Fine Hair version of this product were middling; I decided to take a risk and order this product, and I'm so glad I did! The combination of the olaplex bond maintenance shampoo and conditioner amped up the spring in my curls while restoring shine, softness, and manageability. Lather was excellent, and the conditioner felt like it really sank into my hair. The price is a little higher than the shampoo and conditioner I was using before, but I think that's ultimately not a problem because I need so little of this product for a wash, and my hair can go longer between washes. With my previous shampoo and conditioner, I could go three days between washes before my curls got irredeemably frizzy. With Olaplex, I went 5 days before I washed it at the end of the week, and my curls look even better after the second wash than they did after the first. This product is worth the money. I recommend.

I love what this shampoo does for my hair and how it makes my hair feel and behave. The scent is also very pleasant and barely noticeable. It's definitely up there in price, but after my hairdresser used it on my hair, I had to buy my own bottle. The good thing is that it really lathers up so you only need a tiny little bit of it each time. I think it will last longer than the other rather expensive shampoos I've been using, such as AG and others. My hair is fine, a bit past shoulder length, and I color it. I used to do highlights, but that became too damaging so I just went to a medium brown color and now only do the roots about every 6 weeks. Even this mild routine is hard on my fine and fragile hair, so I needed to try something different. I really do see a substantial difference in my hair with this shampoo, and it's not just hype. It makes my hair soft and not so flyaway, although since I also use the Olaplex 5 conditioner and #6 leave-in styler (which seems more like a leave-in conditioner), plus the #7 oil for the very ends, so all of these products together really make my hair behave and look better. Due to the price (ouch!), I'm careful to not waste any of the products, but from what I'm seeing after about 6 to 7 weeks of use so far, they will last quite a long time. Highly recommended, and definitely better for me than anything else I've used.

Olaplex shampoo and conditioner are truly the best I have ever tried. My hair has always been difficult and frizzy, but this brand works wonders; it’s unbelievable how smooth and healthy my hair feels now. There’s no doubt I’ll continue using Olaplex. Absolutely amazing!

2 Month Update: Reduced by one star, because it still works like magic for split ends. BUT the amount of shedding I've had lately is alarming. With thin hair already, losing this much hair is not okay. I read reviews about shedding before I used it, so I was only washing with a tiny amount 2x/week. Went down to once a week and just had my hair oily and up the rest of the week. It also stopped cleaning my hair as well as it did at first. I'm back to oily hair by the second day. My plan is to stop using it unless I notice split ends, use it once like a treatment, and wait until I see split ends again. I'm hoping the shedding will stop. I will update again in a couple months. Disappointing that it's not a weekly option after spending so much money. But it did repair the bonds like a charm.Original Review: My hair was a disaster. Thin and fine; long to lower back. Been growing it for years and struggling with enormous split ends. Split ends on other split ends! Tangled so easily I'd have to stop and brush it out while blow drying. No chance of running my fingers through my hair without tangling at the ends. Split ends immediately after a good trim. Hair gets oily by the end of the day after shampooing. No chance of skipping a single day washing or it's just gross looking. Couldn't find a decent shampoo/conditioner. Too cheap usually to buy something like this, but the reviews won me over. OMG IT'S AMAZING. After one shampoo + condition it's very clean, can only see a couple split ends, it's light and bouncy, and I can run my fingers through it like a dream. I actually never officially brushed my hair today - just combed through with fingers and it looks perfect. So worth the money! I'm never using anything else. (Update: Didn't have to wash my hair again until day 3 and it was still clean!!)

I love the #4 shampoo and #5 conditioner. I have fine, thin hair and have tried SO many products over the years, and these do so good for my hair. It’s pricey but a small amount goes a long way.
