Vacuum frying may not be the best way to preserve the mangosteen flavor.
Nice balance of sweet, tang and something else. crunchiness? Unfortunately, it leaves me with no idea what mangosteen tastes like. Mind you this was the spicy shrimp salad flavor, since the original wasn’t available. A quite pleasant snack if you weren’t expecting fruit. Light, not oily.

Great Taste and nice packaging
Mangosteen is one of super fruits containing high anti-oxidants. Growing up in Thailand, I had fresh mangosteen as snacks every so often. Now living in the US, I kinda missed it. I’m so happy Amazon finally has this available. This snack is processed in the way that the pits are chewable. The taste is excellent.

Way too expensive.
These are delicious! However, not spicy at all. They are also way way way too expensive for the amount that you get. They should be no more than $3. Ridiculously expensive, so I will not purchase again. I'm sure in Thailand they are probably around $1. I feel like I paid a very high tourist tax and I didn't even get the enjoyment of being in the country.

Healthy & Delicious... A++
I tried Cheva in Thailand last year and couldn't be happier that I can now get it year round with Amazon Prime's 2 day shipment. The "vacuum- fried" process allows the snack to retain crispiness without sacrificing any of the mangosteen flavor that I love. Really nice to be reunited with a healthy snack that tastes this good!!!

Product tastes great. Only downside was how incredibly small the bag was. I guess I should have read the product description more carefully.

Not worth it...
it's way too expansive for what you got, and the flavor is not that good either. If you've ever tried the fresh mangosteen, this one won't give you the satisfaction like the fresh one. Better save your money for the fresh mangosteen.

Very small quantity for price.
Tastes good but it's very expensive, you basically get only a handful for this price. Under 2oz is stated in the project description but the packaging is tricky because it could be half the size it is.
