Due to my hair getting longer in the apocalypse I needed something other than the lighter hild Reuzel (blue tin) that I normally use. This did not disappoint, smell is savage and the hold is exactly what i wanted. Warm up a piece between your palms and apply through hair for a great hold and a lovely matte finish. Extremely easy to re work too, without the need for water . As far as I'm concerned Reuzel products are untouchable in their field, while they may be just that little bit more expensive, after one use it will have justified the pricing .

Was really pleased with the size of the product. A big container with lots of wax inside.The product itself gives you a firm hold, without your hair looking greasy. It also has a really nice vanilla like smell so it makes your hair smell great.You just need to make sure you take a small amount of product and rub thoroughly in your hands before applying it. This way it will not clump up in your hair. This is no different to other waxes however.The wax is also easy to wash out and isn't like oil based waxes which you need to use lots of shampoo etc to get it out. I wash with just water and it comes out fine.If you want a Vegan friendly product, that has a long gold and smells great, then this is for you!

I recently tried the Reuzel Extreme Hold Matte Pomade, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it.The citrus scent is decent, making the application process enjoyable.When it comes to hold, it provides a decent matte finish that keeps my hair styled throughout the day without looking greasy or shiny.One thing to note is that this pomade is quite heavy, so a little goes a long way - using too much can weigh down your hair. The best part is how easily it washes out at the end of the day, which is a significant plus for me.The tub is quite large, and with everyday use, I find it lasts me around 12 months, making it great value for money.Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable styling product that delivers a strong hold with a matte finish.

The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes for this pomade as I have been using Reuzel’s other pomade for many years now but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. The product I received was rock solid and had visibly shrunk inside the container, which made it almost unusable. I noticed some reviewers had the same issue, while others received it in perfect condition—so it seems to be hit or miss.On top of that, this item was marked as ineligible for a refund. Thankfully, Amazon stepped in and issued a refund but that’s not always guaranteed. Just a heads-up for anyone considering this—check recent reviews and be aware of the risk before purchasing.

Neither the box or tin was damaged, everything was ok. The price is absolutely superb! I suppose, it's because the expiry date was coming to an end, and I was afraid it would come dried out, but no, the product was excellent.Regarding the styling itself, the hold is strong, not too strong(water-based pomade after all), but is more than enough for short-medium hair(unlike, for example, reuzel fiber pomade that I had previously and which was medium hold at best and didn't hold my hair for more than 3 hours, so I was surprised)Finish is matte(unless your hair is slightly damp while styled)

I've tried many different hair styling products over the year, from waxes and gels that you find in a supermarket shelf (Fudge, VO5, Fish), to product used on you at barber shops, through to more expensive products like the Uppercut range (tried them all), Muk, Hands de Fuko etc) and whilst those product are great in their own way, this is by far the best I've ever used.For context, I'm mid-30s with straight hair that often goes limp with styling. I usually style my hair in a medium length natural parting or a messy quiff. Reuzel Extreme Hold Matte Pomade allows me to style my hair how I want it and it's really versatile. You can use as a pre styler before blow drying, after pre styling to finish a look, no pre styling on either dry or wet hair. If you want a matte look, use less. If you want a little more shine, use more. It will keep your hair in its style all day and it's really easy to wash out.Definitely worth having in your hair styling armoury. I usually pre and post style with this, or use Uppercut Matte Pomade as a pre style and this to finish the look.

Looking for something to keep my hair exactly in place and read alot of review and went for this and red one to try. This cost several times more than the other and comes in a small pot. And the result ....honestly similar to everything else in just doesn't do what I wanted. The red one? Alot better and alot less money
