I absolutely love this CD and I was never a big Soundgarden fan. I always appreciated Chris Cornell's lyrics, music ability and his great voice. Yet, I was not always drawn and on a whim I downloaded one of his songs called Long Gone (rock version). What a great song and with his passing I looked for something on full CD and came across this in my search. It's more than just the collection of most popular songs although it does include those. But I was blown away by a cover of Nothing Compare 2 U done live and his Call Me a Dog (which has become one of my faves). You Know My Name which is from James Bond Casino Royale movie -- some real gems that are extremely pleasing to hear and they reveal someone deeper than just a screaming guitar and hard rock vocalist. Not to say that there isn't that either, Loud Love and Black Hole Sun from Soundgarden, Hunger Strike from Temple of the Dog and Like A Stone from Audioslave show the man was just as good at that part of himself. So what I discovered from this CD was not just a guy who liked rock music but all kinds of music and he appreciated all kinds songs and was able to relate them and put his own spin on them. From this CD I got a picture of a genuine, real person who let music touch him and put his emotions out in his music. I am extremely glad I bought it and for others preview it before you buy if you're on the fence. Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones you never thought you'd like.

Although i wasn't the biggest soundgarden fan i always appreciated him and his great voice. This compilation is excellent it really spans his whole career and bands and projects. I am expecially a fan of his music with audio slave. The only con is the omission of I am the highway, like someone else remarked in their review, cmon now! But really you can't go wrong with this CD if you loved Chris Cornell's music. He was a so very talented.

The tracks featured are most of what a more casual buyer would look for in a "Hits Collection".....Well compiled I think, given the space available.This set is a strong collection that offers the listener a wide vision of material through the years.A free download card valid through the 12/31/2020. The color booklet enclosed is helpful and informative.A timely offering that will let longtime and future fans of Chris hear many ways that he stirs the soul and imagination.The packaging of the vinyl set is appropriate and very in keeping with the Man. Tasteful, artistic and with a great nod to his Pacific Northwest roots. A strong addition to your library.....*** Note that the first 500 copies included numbered lithograph. *** Not sure if Amazon was supplied with any of these but I did not receive one this time. In fairness the fan club website might well have got the entire allocation.

One of the best compilation there is for one and only Chris Cornell.

It's a very complete compilation to an amazing singer and his career.

the album cover looks great, and I love the skyline outer slip sleeve, very cool. Also, the inner sleeves are lined with plastic which is always nice, so I don’t have to use my own inner sleeves. The pressing sounds quality, no complaints there either.Here’s my issue: the track list. Without getting into too much detail concerning the playlist, I’ll just say, why the hell is “I Am The Highway” left off of this album? C’mon man...

It's Chris Cornell and it's amazing

A versão que Amazon está enviando não é exatamente a da foto e descrição. Não vem com o slipcase verde. Estão entregando a versão normal do CD, e não a especial. Deveriam corrigir o anúncio. De qualquer forma, o CD é ótimo e a entrega e atendimento da Amazon são excelentes.

Excelente recopilación

Le doy cinco estrellas porque el producto es perfecto en cuanto a calidad, tanto físicamente como en cuanto a audio, y repertorio, aunque de esto último hay que tomar en cuenta que Chris tuvo una enorme carrera que es imposible resumirla en dos lo, sin embargo es un bello resumen.
