Fender Strap (4-Pack) Blocks

It does what it is supposed to do. Good for price and sturdy and leaves guitar more secure than before.

I play guitar standing up so of course I need a strap. I never cared about using any strap lock or strap block until one day I saw a compilation of people's strap failing to hold the guitar and most of their guitar would do a headstock dive and the ones with Fender were okay 'cause the fender headstock is built without any neck angle dive unlike the Gibson. I own a Fender but the result of headstock dive on hard ground made me feel so unsafe about the guitar without a strap lock/block. I ordered these as I've seen many people using it to block their strap from getting undone. I wanted a strap "lock" which totally secures the guitar but I'd never use one so I thought maybe I should use these first and boy are they good! I now feel much safer with these strap blocks as these do what they are supposed to do. So why the 4 star rating? Even though this is so much safer than not using any protection I still have a tad bit of a doubt that maybe, just MAYBE these might fail.

This products is garbage. trust me i red somany reviews before i try it. Most of them were positive. Thats why i bhought them. But after useing for 2,3 practice sessions it came off and i litterally dropped my guitar, but by luck i could catch my guitar at last movment. I know a guitarist loves theire guitar more then anything in the world. So dont risk your loved instrument. Peace.

Much easier than dealing with other methods if you plan to keep the strap on one guitar and not change between them. I fitted them to a vintage tele with the original style strap (replacement): no problem. It took me a little longer to get them on a Custom Shop Strat with thicker leather but I succeeded and everything feels very secure.

These are perfect- I keep them on all of guitars and basses. They can be a bit tough to put on and take off, but that's the whole point! After one very close call with a strap falling off my bass, I started using these. Now I feel a lot safer and more secure. Any time I play a bass without these, I get nervous. Seriously, but put these on your instrument, you won't regret it. Don't wait until you drop your prized guitar, just put these on now!

Jam one of these guys under your volume pot to stop accidentally turning it whilst playing. You can still turn it but with slightly more force required.
