Best water pump
These are great pumps as they contain no oil that would leak into a fountain and foul the water. I've been using this brand for years and have never had a problem.

Stupid Loud
The media could not be loaded. I've had quieter power tools. It pumps efficiently, but you can hear it in the next room

Buyer Beware
Ordered this pump and received a pump manufacturered in China, called EcoPlus 100, but it came in the Danner Supreme box. It was a junk, 100 GPH pump, which probably retails for about $7, instead of the Danner Supreme pump that I had paid for.

Very thin plastic and non USA pipe fittings BSP threads
I am not positive but it appears my pump has BSP threaded fittings. - BSPT - Female thread is parallel and the male thread is tapered (also know as R/Rp) (the female thread can also be tapered it is then Rc, these are fairly rare to find). Within BSPT it is also common to call the female thread BSPP (parallel) and the male BSPT (tapered) even though they are both technically a BSPT thread form (the female would be parallel and the male would be tapered). A 1/2 NPT fitting will fit on the output but NOT in the input, it will crack the fitting! The plastic is very thin and will break easily. Would be good if it came with an input adapter.
