I like this guitar a lot
I like this guitar a lot. Never had a resonator before this but, for the price, it's pretty great. It does, however, require occasional re-tuning. Although, for me, that's not as big an issue since I like to switch between standard and open G frequently anyway. Plays great with or without a slide: easy on the fingers, but not low enough to have your slide constantly banging on the fretboard. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for an affordable resonator guitar that also, you know, sounds great.

Great Guitar for not too much money
Very nice guitar for the price. Sounds and plays better than expected (of coarse it's no Scheerhorn but a great guitar for the money). I bought this guitar specifically for "Bottleneck Style" Delta Blues and the action is just right for this style. I would recommend this guitar to people who don't really care about having an "Expensive" Guitar.

Good Value, Sounds Great
I just got this guitar for my birthday. I have been a pro guitarist for over 30 years, but have only just started playing slide and wanted to try a Dobro style resonator. I liked the look of this and the price was certainly good. One problem I have found when trying the cheaper resonators on the market was that the high action that aids bottleneck playing also meant that the guitar was a little difficult to play when fingering. This is suprisingly not the case here. I found that playing slide sounded great, but that it was also a fairly comfortable fit when I was fingering. The sound is pretty good, there was a little buzzing sound that was fixed when I tightened up all the screws on the front. I was planning to just use this guitar at home, but I really do like the way it sounds and will be featuring it on a couple of numbers live. ideal if you want to get that authentic old blues sound. Really pleased with this.
