Thing of beauty
Beautiful design… the removable filter in the basket allows cleaning in a zone otherwise sealed.

Makes the best coffee and has the best design.
I have tried many moka pots/esspresso makers and find this one is the best.Better than the Bicalleti, London Sip, etc.It cost a lot more than the other makers but for good reason.First off, this maker as been around for 56 years.Designed in 1967 in Italy and distributed internationally in 1968.4 things about the design I like from the other makers I tried:1. All stainless steel components; I don't like to use Aluminum.2. I like how it clamps together, nice tight seal, versus the others that screw together.3. The separate reducer and funnel, so you can make 3 cups or 6 cups depending on how you insert the reducer.4. Looks great and easy to clean.I read a lot of reviews before buying this, because it is expensive, but a lot of the negative reviews seems to be from people not knowing how to use properly. You want to use it on low heat, take it off the stove as soon as it 'spurts' air and not liquid, cleaning right away and dry it. If you take care of this maker, I bet it will last a life time and probably why it's been around since 1967.

Quality is excellent, but the use of a filter that is separate from the funnel is a MAJOR annoyance
Be aware that the funnel has a drop in filter, that can be flipped for either 6 or 3 servings. If only they made a funnel that didn't have a filter that dropped out when knocking the coffee grounds out! This really gets old.

best in breed
I have used the Giannini since I first started living in Lugano, CH. I still have the same one I first bought 25 years ago. I just change the gasket once or twice a year. Over the years, many people have fallen in love with the coffee that I make. To this end, I have taken to giving these as gifts. Highly recommended. Other manufacturers are cheaper, but those units tend to have a design flaw in the way that their two halves warp over time and do not seal correctly; generally after a couple of years of serious use. The patented Giannini system is much more simple and elegant. One recommendation is to grind your coffee one notch larger than the traditional espresso grind. You will still get the rich body of the coffee without the potential for the smallest of the grinds adding too much texture to the coffee.

Pictures talk by itself, after using it for 4 times.
I was excited about this product, Coffee was delicious for the first 3 times. How can this be possible the oxidation took place so soon. just two days after using it for the first time. I won't dare to use it again.

The best espresso pot!
This will be the last espresso pot you will ever need. It’s stainless steel so it will not blacken like other aluminum espresso makers. The best part is the ease of not having to screw it together. The handle snaps easily into place. Yes it’s costly but it is with every penny!

Delicious coffee
I've grown up drinking espresso made on the stove and have used different pots that were cheaper and didnt last long. My brother had an older version of this pot so I thought I would give this one a try. I love this little coffee pot! It's just the right size for 2-3 people and the taste is amazing without a burnt taste. I do recommend getting the small ring to cook it on so it sits properly on the stove top. Thank you for this amazing little machine. I use it almost daily and recommend to anyone who lives. Good cup of espresso or latte.

Amazing coffee
The quality and weight of this moka pot is outstanding. Makes wonderful coffee. This is a piece of kitchenware that will last me and be handed down to others. So glad that I decided to go for this pot.

Bellissima e comodissima
