Pancreatic Enzyme Powder
My German Shepherd has a pancreatic enzyme deficiency and must be on this powder to help with her poop. The cost of the powder from my vet is over $140. This powder is a fraction of the cost and definitely does the job. My dog does well on this and I highly recommend this powder.

Follow their directions. It’s miraculous!
Oh my God, what to say...this product is nothing shy of miraculous. My dog I had a procedure to remove chicken bones last January. After the procedure Marli started having horrible diarrhea and tummy pain. Next she tested positive for giardia which caused the diarrhea. In a 5 month period she had gone from 21 pounds to 14 pounds and dropping. I knew it was something else. Marli was curled up in a ball with tummy issues so I brought her to a vet. She recommended tests, and she started with the pancreatic testing. Turns out Marli had Exocrene pancreatic insufficiency disorder. This doctor wasn’t to concerned about her weight until I told he she was 21 pounds 5 months prior! I had been feeding her huge amounts of highest quality food, no weight gain. The recommendation was digestive enzymes, and b12. The enzymes recommending hers that she sold, for 250.00! And she suggested b12 shots once a week for 6 weeks then once a month thereafter. The shots were 40.00-each. I had just spent 350.00 for the visit and tests, I needed time to research EPI in dogs and decide how to proceed. I did much research, and when I came across the pan-tenex, I felt that I had found the one for us! The digestive enzymes are from animal pancreatic enzymes- the easiest and best for your dog. It gave great instructions, that many digestive enzymes did not. Very weird. Also every digestive enzyme had different plant papain from papaya and pineapple stems, along with microchristelline cellulose and other ingredients and fillers as well. The ingredients in Pan-tenex you ask? Pancreatin. That’s it. It’s got your Amylase, Protease, and Lipase which is what your after! As soon as I got it, we started pronto, Marli was skeletal. She wasn’t able to receive the nutrients from her food, she had been slowly dying...😢 I followed the very clear instructions to a T. She liked it, no problems there- I would add cobalamin b12 to her dinner with her enzymes at night. Within 1 week I was feeling hopeful she was not still losing. By the second week I felt she was looking much less skeletal. And this progress got better and better! Marli went to the vet for a check up today...she gained 2-1/2 pounds in 2-1/2 months! That was the first weight gain in almost a year! This is really the real deal. If your dog is constantly hungry, but can’t put on weight, it’s because the are starving for nutrients. Over feeding a dog with EPI causes constant bowel movements which cause digestive and intestinal issues on top of the frequent tummy troubles. This is my go to from this day forward. Marli has small normal colored poop instead of the clay/tan color it had been for months and months. I am forever grateful for this product!

Works if your dog in fact has condition
Read the reviews myself before ordering and was skeptical. We were running out of time for our GSD, as NOTHING vet had recommended or prescribed worked. Not at all begrudging vet but nothing was helping our boy. Started him on this and FINALLY got results. I can say with confidence and sincerity this stuff saved our boy. Do your research and see your vet to make sure this is an appropriate treatment for your dog, but as others have stated some medications are too expensive and in our case did not work.

Firm stools/ E.P.I.
I used to buy the Bio Thomas labs enzymes for over 10 years, and I seen that they recently sold/discontinued their business/product. I had to scroll through multiple reviews for a product similar to try before my dog ran out of the previous product. I decided to give this brand a try. It is more grainy compared to the fine powder we were used to. Pan-tenex has the same ingredients I know helps with my dogs E.P.I. The numbers were a little lower but it does keep her stool firm. My dog does not like this product. I slowly changed her to this product to watch for any reactions/changes. I think it’s just that the powder is grainy and not fine. It could have a different taste and that’s why she’s not in a rush to eat her food like before. I will try this until we’re close to running out. I might try another product. I just wanted to add a tip for those who have pets with E.P.I. My dog’s health has improved with a change to a prescription low fat diet and she also gets b12 shots that helps her absorb the food better. It’s been 12 years learning what works for her dealing with E.P.I. This product does work but Idk if I’ll try something else to help my dogs appetite.

It works and does NOT smell
Our senior gal was newly dx with EPI. We got her a prescription of pancreved and it smelled so bad she refused to finish her meal, and she’s the type to eat everything in sight. Plus it made her smell so bad!! We went on a bunch of forums which mentioned this enzyme and it has worked amazing for us over the last few weeks. She’s gradually gaining weight. It’s also a lot cheaper than most prescribed pancreatic enzymes.

Highly Recommended
Amazing product! Worked wonders in a relatively short period of time for our 13 year old dachshund. Highly recommend if your dog may be suffering from digestion/pancreatic issues.
