Beyond Midnight Bluebeard (Caryopteris) Live Shrub, Blue Flowers and Glossy Green Foliage, 4.5 in. Quart

I ordered April 2, was delivered April 7. I let it sit on my front porch for two days (watered it) and planted in the ground. ( I live in Virginia if location matters to you.) We have horrible clay in our yard, but we dug a hole that was too big and filled it with purchased miracle grow soil.It didn't look that great when it arrived. The branches were firm but the leaves looked rough. Went ahead and planted it. Gets direct sun at least 6 hours of the day.It's May 24, today. It seems to be doing great. I took a picture with my ugly size 8 foot for a size reference as to how much it's grown in 6 weeks. I don't expect it to get full size, because it should be working more on the roots. Next spring I will expect the topside growth.I will definitely buy from this company again, but too late this season.Oh, the white specks on the leaves are from a tree. It is on everything! I wasn't going to clean the plant to take a picture though.

This plant arrived in a smashed packing box that had been crushed on all sides top and bottom . A Lot of tape had been added to put it together again . most of the growth was dead or on it's way to it . Stems were broken and brown or even black . I have pruned the damage off and have one green stem alive . Now working on keeping the plant alive , hopefully . If all had been green and growing it looked like it would have been a very nice plant .

These are awesome bushes/shrubs. They attract Bumblebees and Butterflies and are really pretty and flower all season! I was skeptical about ordering a bush from Amazon but you know what?!?! It is perfect! Healthy and good sized. Went in the ground just now and looks great! Very happy customer!

I wrote a big long review but somehow erased it. It all boils down to the plant arrived in very bad shape. Top smashed down, most of the soil out of the pot. I don't think it will live but I will try. It was $17.75 for the pitiful little thing. Caryopteris 'beyond midnight. I've never ordered a plant online before, probably won't again. The picture is after I trimmed a bunch of dead leaves and branches off.

Came yesterday. Check out that sweet photo guys. Not sure this one is saveable. If it survives I might change my rating.

I got this in Feburary when dorment. I have in window, and is it nice.., waiting for warm weather, to plant outside.
