Easy to Take & All Natural!
We have only been using this product for about 3 weeks and, as we are both in our late 60's, we don't expect to see results for another several weeks. But then we didn't expect instant results. When you use natural products, slower is better and patience works. We love that it is organic and made from grass fed beef. That is a huge advantage to this brand of collagen for us. This was recommended to us by our Bowen work therapist who takes it as well.So far we are very happy with it; it truly is almost tasteless and dissolves well. I say almost tasteless as I drink it in plain water and can detect a slight taste, almost coppery. I tried it in black coffee, but didn't care for it (nothing gets in the way of my coffee!), so I now add two small teaspoonfuls of tart cherry juice concentrate which I take anyway. Now I enjoy drinking it first thing in the morning. We are looking forward to the benefits and I will come back to do an update. Right now, I love how easy it is to order and customer service is very good as well.Update #1 September 2: An unlooked for benefit! My nails have never been stronger in my almost 66 years. I am not one to fuss with them and will file them when there are snags or breaks, but not for looks so much. Since I have been taking the collagen peptides they have grown out long and strong twice with no breaks or chips. My two thumbs have misshapen nails due to a nervous habit which has damaged their nail beds and I am hopeful that these, too, will improve over the coming year. That will be my next update for sure. The other noticeable change has been in a relief of pain in my hip. This may be a result of the collagen peptides or changes in my exercise routines or a combination, but I am feeling much better overall. We will definitely be ordering this product regularly for years to come.

Not bad for the price!
I'm going to update this over the next few days, as I give it a weeklong trial.Day 1: I received this yesterday. I opened the bottle immediately. The product was very smooth and had a slight odor to it, but nothing too bad. I mixed it in a glass of orange juice. It was clumpy at first, but I stirred it and let it sit a bit, and it ended up dissolving nicely. I could taste it a bit in the juice.Day 2: I blended it in with my bulletproof coffee. It blended beautifully and made it nice and creamy. I couldn't taste it at all. I'm thinking that adding it to liquids that are sweet, you may taste it a bit, and adding it to liquids that are salty or savory, you won't. I'm going to add it to my bone broth soon and try that out.Day 3: Added to broth. It dissolved nicely once I stirred it and let it sit a bit. I couldn’t taste it at all. Still too soon to notice any benefits, but I haven’t had any issues with it so far.Day 4: Added it to my regular coffee (almond milk and Stevia). Can’t taste it at all.Days 5/6: Still using it mainly in my coffee. No taste but makes it a little creamier. I’ve noticed my hair has been more manageable too. Hoping for continued improvement in my skin and hair. I think it’s safe to say that I really like it, and feel good about adding it to my healthy lifestyle.

Solid product at a reasonable price
Since this is only the second brand of collagen peptides I've tried, I'd like to experiment with others, but I'd definitely consider buying this again because it works well with minimal drawbacks.I got this to replace another brand that gave me good results but was too grainy and didn't mix well, plus I was curious to see if a grass-fed brand would give me better results. The MAV brand mixes okay in room temperature liquids and very well in hot liquids. Usually I put a scoop at the bottom of my (admittedly large) mug then make my coffee with a pour over cone dripper. I don't even have to stir. The product dissolves completely in the coffee without leaving any residue afterward. I've never tried it with cold liquids, but I found that it takes a little vigorous stirring to get it to blend into room temperature water. However, it does blend without clumping or leaving behind any residue. Once I tossed it into some yogurt as an experiment. It took some work to get it to blend in properly, but it did blend eventually. Also, I did that by hand, so I'm sure it would be no problem in a blender.Although the product is unflavored, it's not completely tasteless; however, it's so slight that it seems to disappear when mixed with something else. I have it in my coffee most mornings and can't detect any change in flavor or odor. If I have it in water, I can tell something is there, but it's not unpleasant. If you prefer to take your collagen straight, this should be fine. This product only has two downsides for me, 1) the fine dust that kicks up when using it and 2) stickiness. To be fair, the first brand I used also had these issues, and I just got a third brand that is also sticky though not so dusty. Perhaps that's normal -- I don't have enough experience with collagen peptides to say. But I've learned how to carefully scoop out the product so 1 isn't such an issue anymore. As for results, I'm very satisfied. Since starting with collagen peptides, the clicking in my knees has almost entirely stopped. I might get it once every couple of weeks now whereas before it happened every morning as I got out of bed. My hair, skin, and nails are stronger. For example, I used to break a nail once a week or so while lifting in the gym, but I can't recall so much as chipping a nail since starting with collagen peptides. A few months back, I tried a new brand of soap but had to quit it after one week because it dried my skin too much. As an experiment, I tried it again after having used collagen peptides for one month. The new soap still caused my skin to crack, but this time it took about two weeks. Also, I find that I'm recovering much faster even after intense workouts. I still get sore sometimes, but it's nowhere near what it used to be. I can't prove that collagen peptides did all of this, but that's the only change to my life that I've had, so it's enough to convince me to continue using them.To be clear, I saw all of these results with the first product I used, though it happened in stages. The clicking in my joints disappeared on day three, enhanced recovery kicked in after two weeks, and everything else happened after one month. MAV brand delivered the same results. As far as I can tell, being grass-fed didn't make a difference in my results, but I prefer it for philosophical reasons.Another key point is that MAV worked out to be cheaper than the first brand I tried. Taken on its own, MAV is very reasonable priced for a grass-fed product.Next month I'll be trying a different grass-fed powder just to see how that goes. But I'd happily use this one again and am very pleased with my purchase. It's not perfect, but it's darn close and I'm glad I found it.
