Sycomore is expensive and difficult to find. And I've never smelled it. I can say that this is similar to Lalique's Encre Noir, which is reputed to be similar to Sycomore and smells very good. This also smells very good ... slightly more open than Encre Noir, which smells like, literally, black ink. This has a slightly more herbal, smokey aspect. I'll be getting some more.
