The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing topper! It has a lot of great reviews already, which helped us make the purchase. Now that we've owned ours for months, I'm going to use mine to address some of the issues others said they had.1. Smell: It smelt like "packaging"...wasn't a foul odor at all. As we waited for the topper to "rise" it aired itself out and by the time we put it on the bed there was no smell noted.2. Pain relief: I have a really bad back, and it has definitely helped me sleep better, and wake up less stiff. Did my pain disappear? No...it's unrealistic to expect it to. Am I sleeping a lot better? Hell. yes.3: Heat: For us, it's definitely NOT making our bed hotter. We live in Arizona....it was 108° yesterday. We do sleep on 100% Modal Beech sheets, so idk if sleeping on quality sheets makes a difference or not. But ya know, it's a dry heat...Ha!4: Durability: It hasn't lost its shape yet! The pillow topper is definitely not 2 inches as you'll see in my video. It has very deep pockets though and keeps everything in place very nicely! So if I were to measure it, it's not quite as thick as they say it is. That being said, it is holding up! My Husband is a very large man. 6'4" 300 lb retired D-Lineman to be exact, and his side has not flattened AT ALL! So I assume it's going to hold up very well!Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase! We loved it so much, we bought one for our daughter as well! If you're looking for a great topper, look no further!

UPDATE 4.5 MONTHS LATER: Still in love. PERFECT amount of support and cushion, does not get hot whatsoever, and the pillowtop has been easy to wash and dry in a regular washer/dryer setup. It has held its shape really well also. Love it.---Ok, so it's only been one night, but this thing is a dream. It is a miracle. I am still saving up to afford a new mattress, and as I need someone to deliver, haul out the old, AND it's a Cal King, I just haven't been able to swing all the expenses. This is the stopgap I so desperately needed. I think this will extend the life of my mattress for a while but will update my review if or when this thing goes bad. But last night was some of the best sleep I've had outside of a hotel room in YEARS.I used the pillowtop on top of the foam, and it did NOT get hot at all, and it is HOT where I live right now. I was very, very worried about this because I'm a hot sleeper. Like, fans on, kick the blankets off, night sweats hot sleeper. I did buy a "cooling technology" sheet set, so that may have helped, but honestly they felt like any other sheets. Trust me when I say if you use the pillowtop it isn't a heat sink. I do think if you use just the foam that that will get hot, though.It was very easy to unroll and position on my bed. The foam dimensions aren't exact, but it's close enough and it made zero difference anyway. The pillowtop easily extended over the corners and stayed on perfectly. I did not notice any smell at all. Do be aware that while you let this reconstitute for the 2 days it says to, if you have entitled cats, they might find the foam REALLY appealing to sharpen claws on (ask me how I know...), so I'd advise you try to keep them out of the space until you've fully made your bed. Just sayin'.

The topper was very well constructed. I have osteoporosis in my spine and the cushioning laying on my back was supportive yet soft. Excellent bang for your buck!

My old mattress just got a new lease on life with this awesome combo topper. I've used only down ones in the past and only foam ones in the past, and this is a great combination of the two that remains cool for me throughout.the night.After unpacking and letting it air out for 2 days I was ready. Since I just caught a cold, I can't tell if there is a lot of off-gassing. The down alternative fitted too sheet feels very smooth and cool to the touch.The comfort level it brought to my body and sleep is so nice whether I am on my side, back, or stomach. It was a great investment that I have already recommended to friends.

This mattress topper was one of the best investments of my life! After hip replacement a year ago, my lower back/knee/ankle/foot muscles on that side were always acting up, especially in the morning. After the second night, all muscle aches were GONE! Sleeping well and pain-free has changed my energy - I'm able to exercise again and moving gracefully! Truly life changing. I will say, though....don't be surprised; it's not quite a full 4". The support pad is 2" and the fluffy topper adds another inch. I did let it rest for 48 hours before I slept on it, but I don't really think that's necessary. There is no smell and the fluffy pad is absolutely decadent...it's like sleeping t a 5 star hotel! :) Also, I'm a VERY hot sleeper and the whole situation is keeping me completely cool. LOVE IT!!!!!!

This is a very comfortable mattress pad when layered as recommended: foam on bottom, cover on top. On the negative side, for me, it does not seem "cooling". I sleep hot, so it feels like it traps heat. I think the cover may be to blame so maybe I need to try it with just the foam by itself. On cooler nights, it is not as much of a problem. It feels comfortable for back and stomach sleep positions, but not for side-sleeping. I prefer side-sleeping, but this product is causing me hip pain. The foam is too rigid for me, but maybe it has to do with one's bodyweight. It might work better for a heavier person. As stated above, I need to test it without the cover to see if that will help with the heat. I am reluctant to do this because the cover is nice and I do believe it adds to the cushioning. It is also very well-made.
