Great vitamin

I started taking the Eve multivitamins a few days ago. The tablets are huge, green and have a very strong smell. At first I thought I had received a bad batch, but after checking, I realized that the color and smell are normal for this brand so now I don't mind it much and just quickly swallow them after breakfast with lots of water. I have not experienced any upset stomach since taking it. On the first day I noticed my urine was more yellow than usual, which made me a bit worried because it was very obviously different from it's usual shade. After doing some research, I learned that vitamin B2 (riboflavin) can cause bright or neon-yellow urine, and vitamin B12 can also slightly deepen the color. Apparently this happens because the body absorbs what it needs and excretes the excess, which shows up in urine. It’s still too early to tell what effects the multivitamin will have overall, so I plan to continue taking it for at least the next month. Since I don’t consume much dairy, fortified plant milk, sardines, or leafy greens and the amounts of calcium and magnesium in the Eve multivitamin are relatively low, I decided to supplement calcium and magnesium separately. To avoid calcium interfering with the absorption of iron and zinc in the multivitamin, I take calcium after I have lunch and magnesium in the evening or before bed since they say it supports better sleep.

Very impressive content. I didn't pay attention and ordered the tablet, they are also made in a soft gel. I have not had any issues with the tablet. I usually select soft gel because it is easier to sallow.

The only down side is they smell really bad. I accidentally bought these but prefer the coated version as the smell makes these hard to travel with and swallow.

I’ve been taking NOW Eve supplements for a few weeks now. While it’s still early to say how much of a difference they’re making long-term, I appreciate that they’re easy to take and don’t upset my stomach. The formula has a nice variety of vitamins and nutrients, which gives me peace of mind that I’m covering some nutritional gaps. I’m planning to continue using them and will see how I feel after a few more weeks. So far, so good.

I did some research on the best quality vitamins to get and these were high on the list. Testing shows that they actually have what they say they have in them, unlike a lot of other brands. They smell and taste gross but I feel like that's because you're actually getting what's on the label. They're big so I personally need to let them sit in my mouth for a few second before I can swallow them with water and that's where the gross taste comes in. They remind me of the chewables I used to take as a kid. I'm not bothered by the size or the taste if the quality is good, otherwise what's the use of a vitamin. *Update 10/4/16, Beware, could cause breakouts: While I still think overall these are good quality vitamins, I believe they are the cause of my recent breakouts. I started to break out terribly after I started taking these daily. I couldn't figure out what was causing it until I realized that taking these vitamins was the only new thing I started doing/using right before the breakouts. When I researched it I found that many multi-vitamins can cause breakouts because of the B12 vitamin. This multi-vitamin contains 3000% of the daily recommended dose of B12. I stopped taking the vitamins and my skin has started to clear up.

Quality of the ingredients are great! Works well, and I can feel a difference when I take them. Local health food store is always sold out of these, so I was happy to purchase them here. I will definitely subscribe for regular delivery.
