WONDERFUL!! Far exceeded my expectations. Absolutely beautiful and more importantly works like a dream! I've been doing gua sha on myself and others with the buffalo horn tools which I like, but I was never able to get the sha (red blotchy stuff that appears when you are getting the stagnant blood out of an area) on my elderly mom, no matter how much time I spent. Well with this tool I started doing her knotted up shoulders and the sha began to come up slightly after about 6 strokes- after I finished she had the classic rash looking sha for the 1st time ever! I could hardly believe it finally happened on her!!..she said it felt just wonderful and gave her much relief! I am definitely going to invest in more gua sha tools from this company!!Also the bag they give you to carry it in is so beautifully made..it is lined with a heavy flannel or very soft fur type feeling material. I’m an acupuncturist so I use guasha frequently in my practice for pain relief. I use many scraping tools and this is one of the most practical ones yet! It is made of high quality metal that is nicely weighted; this provides a good enough pressure on the skin to bring out the desired redness on the skin.I was pleasantly surprised with the nail clipper/bottle opener and guasha sleeve that it came with. I don’t know what to do with the clipper yet but the sleeve I’m very happy with. It’s made of think fabric and will help to keep the tool clean.I use coconut oil for knots or Chinese medicated oil/liniments for pain relief. For pain relief it helps to pass the scraper in one direction multiple times until you see the “sha” or redness come up. The sha will darken and stay visible for a few days.What I like most about this scraper is that it is long enough to cover a large area of the body and the ends are nice and rounded enough to do the smaller, bony areas of the body as well as the face.Am thinking of buying another one to leave at home.

i couldn't decide what shape to get, there are so many to choose from and this is featureless. but every video has it in there.what i like is, its long, and it fits well in the hand because its fat in the middle. it would be nice if the ends were different. the edges however are sharp. they come together sort of like a blade, and the center has a sort of flashing on it. like a plastic model will have. i assume these must be stamped out but they didn't polish the edges well enough. i'll have to do that on my own.that edge creates a scraping sensation that is kind of like a fingernail. otherwise its nice, to use. i'm using this on myself, using it on my neck, and can grab both sides for a leg. the ends are the same so you can't do anything special with those.it included a weird bottle opener nail clipper, it has a little tiny built in nail file too. but i can't imagine why i would want such a thing. i would rather have one of those applicator bottles or another tool. the bag it came in, for some reason had a label on it telling the shipper to be careful with it. but.... this thing would never be sent that way, so i don't know why they bothered.

My PT uses this on my abs (with FREE UP - professional message cream which is available on AMAZON). He works on all of my surgical scar tissue (old and new ones). We are now on the second skin layer. As with all surgical scar tissue, of course, it adheres to many skin layers. Yes, it is painful during this type of scraping, but when he is done the majority of the pain subsides. My skin is pink and there is some bruising, but it is helping with my pain and posture pulling, I wouldn't have known that it was the scar tissue adhering causing me so much trouble. I still have my back to do, too. You can use this anywhere on your skin, but make sure you know how to use it for the area you working on! Yes, I recommend this product!!

Feels like it should last a lifetime. Very thick steel, extremely strong and durable. And a nice holding case as well. Very pleased.

I had my hip replaced about 6 months ago. Everything has been healing well, but a month ago, my massage therapist told me that it was time to work on the scar. I ordered this after the session with her. I have been using it with Vitamin E oil about 3-5 times a week. It does not hurt at all like I thought it would! I'm super impressed. I noticed a big difference the first week, but I kept using it for a full month. I met with my massage therapist again today, and she could tell a HUGE difference! She was really happy, and she did not have to work so hard to break up the scar tissue. I will continue to use this, and I'm going to start using it regularly on my feet now too as plantar fasciitis flares up for me at times. Well worth the money!!

Gua sha tool is working well. I'm taller and heavier than some with bigger limbs. So I'd like the tool even more if it were 3" or 4" longer for more hand gripping room and if the edges were a bit thicker so I could bare down with more comfort. Quality is very good. The tool will last a long time if uou use it properly.
