Excellent funnel and filter
Thus is an excellent filter. Fits really well in to a decanter with a good pouring system (which helps aerate the wine) and captures a good amount of sediment from older bottles. Bought one for my Dad and one for myself. Highly recommended.

purchased for Port decanting it does what it says however it is rather small, but that is my fault for not reading the description properly.

Good aeration but rubbish filtering
The filter mesh doesn't appear to be effective in removing sediment as most ended up in the glass with next to nothing retained by the mesh. Aeration worked well though.

Vintage red wine and Port need proper decanting
I was sampling vintage wines from the New World, Italy, and Portugal, so I needed a reliable wine filter/funnel when transposing the wines to a decanter.This did the job perfectly
