Since installing my computer can now take heavy loads. A major upgrade for my computer. If you do heavy lifting like video editing or music you’ll need to make sure your computer has enough ram to run your program and This is a Great Brand and also a Great Price..

This is easy to install and once installed it has worked well and sped up the iMac.

Good:- It is pretty cheap, ~$80 for a 16GB stick is not bad!- Shipped on time, and was delivered as promised.Bad:- I already had a Crucial 16GB stick along with 2 4GB sticks that came with my iMac. I had to do a lot of trial and error (spent around 1.5 hours) to get my computer to work. Every time it was in the wrong configuration, I would hear the computer whizzing/starting up, but the screen would just stay blank. I finally got it to work in a specific configuration (crucial, timetec, apple_default_1, apple_default_2 from top slot to bottom). I am not sure if this would work for everyone though.

It works well, but not clear why costs 13 dollars more than the regular “not for mac” memory drive they sell. Its the same.

A must to upgrade your iMac from the wimpy 8GB it comes with.

Hey there! I have a 5k 27" 2017 imac and tried installing this today. Screen stayed black when it was installed so removed it and returned back to normal.I currently have an 8gb Timetec installed along with two 4gb cards that came installed. Would like some help if possible.

Necesitaba darle un nuevo empujón a mi iMac. Apenas recibí mi pedido agregué por primera vez una RAM a un equipo de Apple. No me funcionó, la pantalla se quedaba en negro.Volví a instalar de nuevo y ahora sí funcionó perfecto al poner primero la de 8GB y luego las 2 de 4GB.

I don’t understand why people say this product is for Macs only. I plugged this into a Dell laptop and it worked fine. Windows reads it as a regular 8gb of RAM and it improves the performance of the computer.

So far it’s good.

Upgraded the memory in my iMac 2017. Just had to disconnect the power cable, push a release button to open the slot and install the memory. Booted up right away with no issues.

I installed two additional 8GB RAM in my iMac. They were recognized instantly. It literally took me 5 minutes to fit them in. No problem at all. I will run some tests in the future using photo editing software (Capture one) to see if it improves performances. During photo editing, I was often nearing my 16GB capacity. I won't have to worry about that anymore:)I am not (yet) giving 5 start because I have not tested these RAMs over a couple of weeks/months, but I am not anticipating any issues. Good product and good value.
