Worth the money
Used this for Workshop application, excellent, study. used a standard 1.5mm before this 2.5mm Arctic cable, the 1.5mm cable got too warm just running a 2kW fan heater. bigger pipe - more flow eh.

Fantastic Heavy Duty Flex
In case you didn't know, the standard cable used for 13A extension cables just isn't OK for extended periods of time. 1.5mm2 cable can tolerate 13A but it will get very warm after a while. For extended use you need a 2.5mm2 cable. I used this to make a number of extensions that can take that heavy load without getting hot.The cable is 10mm in diameter so "just" fits heavy duty inline plugs an sockets. I found the Masterplug HDPT13B-MP sold by Amazon to be excellent. Having said that, wiring is not a doddle. This cable is thick and pushes any inline fitting to the limit. Once done, though, the finished cable is great. Can easily handle 13A for extended periods. Being Arctic Blue there should be no problems with the cold either.Highly recommended.
