These are perfect for any age child as a way of teaching emotions. They feature real people with a variety of believable emotions. I’m not a fan of learning human emotions by viewing cartoons or emojis.

My son just started speech therapy and while he's made some progress, needed more tools to work with from home. After observing many of the tools and toys his therapist used I started looking for products at home.I wanted something that could easily be used at home or at his grandmother's. And I wanted something that would hold his interest with clear pictures or ideas. Many other cards available have drawings that aren't very clear. These cards have very clear pictures that are easy to understand and use.Very, very happy with this purchase. I'll definitely look into their other products in the near future.

I love that these have a diverse and well balanced amount of images. These would be appropriate to use across ethnic lines, which I was really hoping for. I bought a different deck and could not use them because the only times that people of color were represented were when the emotions were anger and disgust. I threw them away because of this.I deducted one star because though these are much more diverse than the other deck, there is no representation of the LGBTQ community in the love cards. Also, they only show love in same ethnic situations. This could be a problem when working with multi-ethnic LGBTQ youth.
