It’s not just the form, it’s the function where this brand wins. I have used or tried different brands’ take on a Moka pot. This is by far the easiest to use for this technique of brewing. Where Bialetti excels is its accuracy and consistency in brewing a perfect stovetop coffee. Quality of materials is undeniably one of the best. Although there are a few variations in the way people recommend its use to get a good cup of coffee, one may simply follow some tutorials to make the best of this Moka pot. I had three cup, six cup, and now this two cup size version. & all of these work really well. Yes, the design itself isn’t idiot-proofed. And some people end up burning the handle or filter gasket due to wrong technique. But with little care and safety measures one can make this Moka pot last forever. I am not sure its price is right but if it lasts forever, it is a value addition to the coffee brewing arsenal.

I'm all here to tell that as a critic, I'd like to say that I'm pretty much pleased by the brand, bialetti of course has shown utmost craftsmanship and a clear evidence to state that the product delivered was indeed able to make a good nice shot of expresso like coffee, I would like to also state my opinions as well, Pointers to note 1. Moka pot brews a very strong like coffee hence not suitable for drinkers who prefer weaker brew 2. It's very sturdy but the base of the pot is relatively smaller and thus not suitable for stove which have a larger base

I am really satisfied by the 2 cup moka pot, it’s really good……recommended for 1 person. Size is good. Ease for use and clean. Mechanism is pretty simple…… and needs to tight properly before brewing……

Perfect Moka for 2-3 cups of milk coffee. The basket size is 12g roughly meaning it’ll hold 12g of ground coffee. And the output coffee is about 90mL (3oz). Here’s what I do: 1) To make 2 cups of coffee - start with 12g coffee, that’ll bring 6g coffee to each cup (close to espresso shot) and split the 3oz output into 1.5oz each. Fill the rest of the cup with milk. 2) To make 3 cups of coffee - start with 12g coffee, that’ll bring 4g coffee to each cup (slightly mild), and split the 3oz output into 1oz each. Fill the rest of the cup with milk. The taste is not exactly like the espresso but close. It has its own uniqueness which I enjoy.

Appears quirky to an Indian, but I guess the Italians know their coffee. Good stuff.

Best thing you can get out here to stop overspending on mediocre coffee at the so called cafes. The journey itself of learning to brew that perfect cup makes it worth buying. I got the 2 cup variant which is perfect for 2 normal sized cups of coffee (with milk) or 1 cup (black).

It's mini and says 2 cups but I actually got 1 cup after percolation. The base is small so it takes time to heat up. that's why prefer to put at least 75-80 C water. It takes around 2.5 -3.5 min to see the oozing of the coffee. Love the extraction and the taste.

Well, it's small indeed. But it's an espresso maker so the 2 cups size makes a double shot espresso.. The product is authentic and well built.. it feels heavy and sturdy in the hand and gives the impression of premium quality. Depending on the coffee you use, you can make a perfect espresso like cup of coffee.
