Best non-sense movie ever i have seen from so called bollywood champs.

Viewers beware, this is just a bad imitation from the original Korean blockbuster - "Old Boy".

Zinda,a Hindi word means Alive, is an unauthorized remake of the South Korean film,Old Boy.It tells the story of Bala,a person who was locked up for 14 years in a hotel room and was unexpectedly release.Then he decided to seek revenge on the people who did this him.It was rather unfortunate that this film was made as it somewhat a bad rip off of a great film.This remake dealt with the themes of revenge but never with controversial themes such as incest and suicide and lowered the level of sex,violence and goriness that the original was known for.The characters lacked depth and the story lacked realism.In summary,it failed at all levels of film making. The only good reason to see it is probably to see it for yourself on how disastrous this Bollywood film is compared to the original.Absolutely horrible!!!!

Zinda ist ein ziemlich harter Film. So gar nicht typisch für Bollywood, weder richtige Romance noch Gesang. Wer das also sucht bzw dabei haben möchte sollte sich diesen Film nicht angucken. Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen: Hammer!Es soll wohl so eine Art Abklatsch/ Nachahmung von dem Film "Oldboy" sein. Da ich diesen Film aber nicht kenne kann ich diesen Film für mich ohne Vorurteile beurteilen. Er gefällt mir sehr gut. Spannung, Action und auch "Psycho" sind dabei.Nervenkitzel pur und regt auch zum Nachdenken an. Also wer sich traut... ansehen. ;-)

This film was amazing. Having grown up with all the colourful musical Bollywood stuff this was an enlightenment! I was absolutely hooked at such a tense and dramatic modern thriller. The tale shifted you from favouring one character or another, blaming one or another, and each twist or development just enhanced the fascination with the tale. Having the setting in Thailand added to the film's cultural interest. I did have to look away at some of the gorier moments though, especially the teeth! Well worth watching a second time around, even though you now know the plot.

Eigentlich mag ich solche Filme nicht jedoch hat dieser mich überzeugt! John Abraham und Sanjay Dutt haben eine tolle Leistung gebracht.Der Film ist ziehmlich dunkel gehalten (meist bläulich) aber man gewöhnt sich daran.Anfangs dachte ich das mir diesr FIlm nicht gefallen wird da er viel in dieser kleinen Zelle spielt jedoch steigert sich das ganze als Balajeet Roy (Sanjay Dutt) wieder frei gelassen wird und auf Jenny (Lara Dutta) trifft.
