Works for laminate and tile
Use this weekly for my job in construction. I am able to fix dings and chips in floor before selling houses. I was surprised to know it works on tile too!

The little iron was a bit useless
The little iron was useless; but the wax and scrapers worked great; i was really impressed on repair blending in and was fairly easy to do. Just used the wife's culinary torch when she wasn't looking; standard soldering iron would probably work also.

Do not buy. It's junk.
The part used to melt the wax did not heat up. Waste of time and money.Not recommended.

wax heating stopped working on 1st repair
it took forever to heat up the wax melter and it did not last, so i bought a torch to heat up the instrument and that works great with the waxes.

Soldering iron not working
I've wanted to buy this for a long time, I need it for work. The kit is good, but the soldering iron itself doesn't work. I changed the batteries, it doesn't help. I threw it in the trash.
