It's for burning things
First thing to do is save the instructions for lighting the fire, they are useless for helping put it together. The parts are probably made in three factories that have bever heard of each other, let alone talked. Don't buy this unless you are reasonable at assembling things where you have to guess where the parts go and make a few adjustments. For instance, the legs have three holes in to attach them to the body, the instructions only show the use of one, but since only two of the holes line up between the pieces it all a bit academic, add to this the number of screws you get in the little bag won't tally with the number of things to be bolted together. The bronze 'effect' is laughable but given other reviews about the poor standard of paintwork with this one I did time the period between lighting it and the paint first starting to peel off - 7 minutes. All this said this is the third one I've had, the others have lasted about six years stood out in all weathers, one the paint is all off (after about the third use) I rub oil into the outer surface which gives it some protection and delays the rusting, also drill some holes in the bottom to drain it. It's not pretty but it does a superb job of burning things, larger than average bowl and mouth means less cutting, and it draws very well glowing red hot if you allow it to.

Good seller, lowish quality product
Quality of material is a little thin, shapes and sizes didn't match very well so there are gaps in the side and fitting the grill door was tough as it had to be bent into shape. Then the paint burnt off... But it did burn stuff well. Seller contact was great and helped us resolve the issue.

I'll give it two years tops!
I know this has great reviews – that's why I bought one – but it's rubbish. The instructions are useless – however, if you've put a few flat-pack items together you'll sail through it – but my problem is with the quality. I'm all for recycling but when you're buying a chiminea you don't expect it to be constructed from five baked bean cans and the door is a joke – it simply doesn't fit (although it fits the bin). If you're looking for a barbecue AND a patio heater buy 'em separately. This is a Jack of all trades. Hopefully, it'll keep us warm tonight but I wouldn't stick even a Richmond sausage on it. Waste of money – buy a B&Q garden incinerator for a third of the price if you want to stay warm outside at night.

Large and gives off a lot of heat.
Seems to be well made, but I wouldn't leave them outside is it will rust very quickly, apart from that would recommend it. It's large and gives off a lot of heat. ProbProbably wouldn't use the bbq feature as it get way too hot and you'd end up with burnt food in seconds.
