Product is decent. Works as needed. Couple things. Comes with no instructions. For wiring or for operation if you are looking at the front of the motor the black terminal on the motor housing is where you connect your ground (or negative or black) lead to. Then if you look at the black cone on top of that motor mount (the solenoid) the nut on the right (or the 3oclock position) is where you connect your hot or red lead to.Now if you are using this for a one port piston you will only be using only one of the hydrolic points on the unit. You will want to use the port that is on the left, it will be the port with the plastic cap over a black thread. If you use the one on the right your up down controls will be reversed. The black connection on the housing can come off and that will allow you to use a 1/4 fitting. If you use the larger opening you will need I believe a 15mm hydralic connection.Lastly make sure you are using a large enough wire (#2 minimum). Depending on how far a run you have you might need to go larger. If not your motor will not run.

Good price
Packaging is not sufficient to protect the electronic relays. The box arrived with the unit shipped upside down and the little clear plastic housing for the relays were broke. I took them off my old pump to make this one functional.I use this pump to operate an 18" cylinder on a tilt-bed shed delivery trailer. I searched until I found this specific model, with the box-shaped tank. The old pump on the trailer had a round tank. My old pump lasted about 3 years with nearly daily operation. Both the old and new pumps use a pair of 1" long bolts (not included) to mount, from the underside. On the old pump, these bolts kept breaking or coming out, due to the heavy vibration on the trailer. It had no other way to secure the pump. On this new pump, I added a piece of 8" channel iron to the trailer frame to support the box tank, and be able to strap it down to hopefully reduce the vibration and keep the bolts from breaking or unscrewing.Of particular note is that the brass hose fittings provided did not match up with my hydraulic hoses and I had to search several parts stores to find hose adapters that fit. The parts store guy said the female sockets in the pump manifold were "5 boss" size. My hoses used "6 boss".Also, this pump sometimes coasts and doesn't always act as a brake if you have a hydraulic cylinder extended with weight on it. There were some holes on the top of the pump motor housing that I was concerned might let water in, so I sealed them with RTV Silicon. This pump was mounted low on a trailer, so I sealed all the electronic parts with RTV.

Two Stars
FYINOT SAE 6 PORTS!!!!!!!My pump had BSPP thread. To get to a US NPT I had to remove the original pump fittings and install a BSPT..not BSPP...to NPT adapter. Parker had them. The pumps manifold female port size in BSPP is very close to US 1/4 NPT-just no taper. Aparantly its common to jam a male pipe thread into a female parallel thread hole-just need to make sure its the British spec tho-the 1/4 npt looks like it will fit but it will leak, the BSPT did not-with plenty of tape.Other than that the pump works ok.

Lasted 2 months
Don't buy, lasted only 1 month!Installed as a replacement pump for my Minuteman Repo lift. Had to attain new fittings as the ones on the pump are British 1/4. Sourced those from Hydradine Parker Store. Cost around $50 or so. Remote is not easily removed from pump but we unwired it and ran it through to the cab. Easily picks up 3000lbs

Works. When you let off a button the pump rocks back and forth a few seconds each time. I knew this was an ultra budget setup, not a professional one. It's just a starter motor that was made for a car, a cheap pump, and some solenoids. It is exactly as described and gets the job done, so 5 star.

Great pump, no issues
For the price it's not a brainer, it works no issues.i did for the return outlet ran it to the reservoir. So I have functions going up and down with the remote Instead of gravity going down. My cylinder had only one outlet but I wanted dual function

great pump for lift gate
works great, however on this pump you have to run a ground to it also. most pumps ground to the frame. this one needs a power line and a ground line hooked to the solenoid. they will leave two nuts loose, you will figure it out. so far no problems with it, very good value compared to other pumps out there
