This arm / clamp is of good quality and well made with no sharp edges. It's very easy to set up and use.However, my dog is a 'small' but strong breed (Lakeland terrier) and the slightest movement yanked the clamp off the table.The neck restraint was ok but I found the double haunch restraint wire harness poorly designed and completely useless for my dog.First of all, why do they have to be made of wire and not just from comfortable webbing?Secondly, because both loops of the double restraint are connected at the top, they just keep drifting together when on the dog, so it may as well just be one loop.I have no idea why the foam cushioning on the wire is split into 2 sections on the larger loop and not continuous, and I didn't like that you have to lift the dog's back legs into the wire loops which immediately creates an extra layer of stress in the process.As there is no practical alternative clamp and arm for anyone who wants to groom their dog at home, I have decided to keep this but have ditched the double wire harness and instead made a single adjustable webbing restraint which can be unclipped and fastened around the dog's body instead of having to lift the dog into it.

I just think it's a bit pricey for what it is.

I decided to have a go at grooming my dogs myself as they were beginning to get quite distressed when going to the groomers. I purchased this item to help me keep them in one place whilst grooming them. It works a treat. I clamp it onto a table, cover the table in the dog towels and away we go. The dogs always seem happy to stand for me. The two slings, one for the neck and one for the back seem to not to bother them at all. A very good buy and will save me a lot of money on groomers bills.

Good sturdy grooming arm. Don't know how I managed without one before. My Chihuahua/Bichon Frise cross is placid but often trys to lay down and sleep. The free haunch noose helps to keep him standing. Space saving, no need for a separate grooming table when you only have one or two small dogs. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because the clamp parts that screw to the table should have rubber pads on them. I use a tea towel to prevent the table from being scratched. Otherwise great bit of kit.

Nice and sturdy and was great to use at home as my dog is very nervous of the groomers. Only moan was finding a surface which i could clamp it to as most tables have a rim just below the table top which means the clamp cant be fully pushed on. I was lucky enough to have a desk without this problem so problem was solved!

This product is a game changer for home grooming. I learned to groom my dog at home during lockdown as his coat needs doing every eight weeks which is expensive. He stays calm and in place because of this arm and previously hard to groom areas are now easy to reach and control. I 100% recommend this. Great value for money

Probably should of brought a slightly bigger one for my cockerpoo, but it does the job.
