These are awesome! They move through the water so realistic. The hooks are extremely sharp, so if a fish bites one of the hooks, you should have no problem with bringing in the fish. The colors are outstanding and the quality is very well made. I’ve not had a chance to catch anything yet, they just weren’t hungry that day and couple of hours out on the lake. If there is any thing else I need to add after catching my next fish while using this, I will sure share it. Oh.. definitely don’t want to use around brush or vegetation.. as I mentioned, the hooks are sharp. I definitely recommend these lures from what I can tell so far.

These swimbaits have an excellent swimming action. They float at rest. Very realistic, sure looks like a bluegill. And they catch fish. Today the lure brought to the kayak a 24 inch 7 pound 15 oz largemouth bass. Another bass managed to shake free.

I've been fishing for pike for 25 years now and tried all sorts of lures with some of the best being made by Rapala, Finland. I am constantly on a lookout for something new for my tackle box and decided to buy this trio by TRUSCEND, a Chinese company from Guangzhou. Below is my initial take on the lures: Pros: - Realistic appearance - Good price (about $6.50 per lure) - Split-joint construction (this definitely improves the crank-bait swim motion) - Built-in rattle (gives out sound vibrations to help out on slow days) Cons: - Color! Picture on amazon clearly showed greenish back while I got something of a mix between violet and brown and that's not what I wanted; other two lures matched the image much better but you can still tell some deviations. - Workmanship: overall not as good as Rapala - No 3rd middle hook; when you have a lure of 5 plus inches you want to have a hook in the middle as pike/bass can strike on the side but there is nothing there to hook em! 80% of the time pike will strike either from behind or will bite into the side of the bait. This leaves the hook close to the head missing out on the action! - Hooks are too thick and front eye bolt hook connector is much bigger than the one by the tail for no reason. I prefer hooks to be slightly taller with thinner center stem (the more invisible the hook the better chance fish will strike). For some reason hooks were not very sharp - Picture clearly shows TRUSCEND written all over the crank bait up top. Lures I got have nothing on them whatsoever. TRUSCEND warns that there are many counterfeits and not to buy from 3rd party sellers. Well, Amazon happens to allow 3rd party sellers! This one says it is sold by TRUSCEND. I have to contact them and ask about the missing label. Once I take these babies fishing I will update if I had any actual success with them.

easily one of the best competitors for catching big pike. used these in murky, weedy waters and still managed to bring in some of the biggest fish (pike) i’ve seen. the barbs are perfect for retaining the fish on the fish, they are exceptionally cheap for the quality in which they ensure. size is perfect for any small packing, and they cast like a dream, allowing you to cover surprising amounts of the lake in which you’re fishing.
