Spy in training. Great mini spy camera.
This Mini Spy Camera is so cool!!! It's shoots 1080P , 720 and can even be switched to photo mode. It has a motion detection function and believe it or not a night vision mode as well. It's a little tricky being the small size as it is to get all these functions to work. Once you read the the installation guide it definitely becomes easier to work. The mini spy camera also comes with a USB with TV cable so that you can connect the camera to the television as you can watch what you recorded. Once i shot a little video and connected it to the television to watch it all made sense on how to work the camera. I was able to control all the settings with my remote control from the television. The only down side to this camera is that you would have to supply your own micro SD card. This camera did not come with one. Luckily I had one laying around. I can't wait to get started on my spy career.

Great little camera
Great little camera. NV is not the best, but it does have UV LEDs that actually work. It does get warm when charging and recording, but mine has not overheated at all. Very small and you get around 30 minutes of recording on a charge. When playing with the other modes, you get maybe an hour of standby when in motion detection mode. Battery life is reduced maybe 30% when the UV LEDs are on. I have not come close to filling a 32GB micro SD card on 2 full charges worth of recording.Pretty easy to use. One long press of the power button to turn on. One long press of about 3-4 seconds to turn on the UV LEDs and red light will alternately flash when activated. Press mode button once to switch from 720 (solid blue LED) and 1080 (purple LED). Press on key once to start or stop recording. Press mode and hold to go into motion detection mode (alternating flash for a second to indicate mode has been selected and lights will then go out). Any key will take it out of motion detection, so if you want UV lights on, they must be turned on first. It automatically turns off without input when turned on in manual mode and just left. You do need to be careful when inserting the micro SD as you can miss the slot and lose it inside, forcing you to remove the shell to recover it. Luckily, I have not had an issue missing the slot, but I can see how it would happen. All in all, a cool little camera for a very good price. The only thing I would change is to not automatically start recording when you plug it in to charge, and to use a standard micro USB instead of the weird camera USB connector. It does come with the USB connector that you need to charge and has a composite video out as well.

Good product and excellent customer service.
Overall this little camera works very well; it's tiny, functional, and it's fun to use. The vendor is very good in responding it's customers' inquiry should a question regarding the product arise. I have had a minor issue regarding a specific function of the camera, their customer service / support got back to me in a timely manner and addressed the issue. This is a good and fun product, with the excellent customer service stand behind it's products I would definitely purchase from this particular vendor in the future. I highly recommend this product and the vendor.

Good camera for a good price, but be warned: USB CONNECTOR IS NOT INDUSTRY STANDARD!
Pictured: Mini-USB, Micro-USB (Phones today) and the non-standard "Mini 8pin USB" used by this camera, Nikon and Pentax.I like the camera. Metal housing is nice. Records for about an hour before filling up a 32GB card. I'll speak more on the power life later and will probably update this review after doing so.I'm reviewing it /now/ because I'm irritated at the product description.Make no mistake, it certainly does say that the output is:"Mini 8pin USB"However, even as an IT professional for over a decade now, I didn't stop to think how many pins the "Mini-USB" standard employs. Why would I?For those unaware, there are several USB standards accepted widely by the industry."Normal" USB: USB 1.0 had the standard we are almost all familiar with, types A and B, rectangular and square.Mini-USB: USB 2.0 introduced the Mini-USB standard connectors in 2000. These are the ones with the inward corner bends on the sides. Mini-B is the one we know best as it wasn't deprecated like the others.Micro-USB: These are the USB cables we're most familiar with today for charging our smartphones. Introduced in 2007, they are smaller than mini-USB, and most of us use the micro-B plug. There's also USB SS and USB-C (3.0 & 3.1) but you can read the wiki for that."Mini 8pin USB", I can find no information on from the USB Implementors Forum, or any page documenting standardized connectors for the industry. It was only after I searched, specifically, for "Mini 8pin USB" that I found that this is a USB cable used primarily by camera manufacturers such as Nikon and Pentax. If you don't own any of those, you likely do not have any cables that will work with this camera, so you'll need to use the one that it comes with. This is likely because they wanted both a smaller connector and the three additional pins this interface appears to employ. (For the RCA out I suspect)That being said, it is very important to note that if you expected to be able to charge this device with other USB cables you already own, you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO.This means if you lose the cable that comes with it, or break it, you'll need to buy another. They are NOT expensive, and you can find them online by searching specifically for Mini 8pin USB.This likely will not be an issue for most users, but they should be aware of it all the same.(I have charging "stations" where I keep primarily micro-usb cables so I can charge all my mobile devices. I'll now need to buy one of these cables for each station in my home, car and office.)

Loved the small size, but couldn't get it to work :(
Exactly what I was looking for, but it wouldn't work. I followed the directions, the lights flashed as the directions stated, but there was never anything there when I tried viewing the sd card. I tried several times a day for several days, but never captured anything. I'm disappointed and unfortunately will be returning.

Tiny Camera
Package arrived within a few days of ordering and was packaged nicely. Easy to set up. Kinda hard to tell if you are recording or not. No flashing lights to let you know. OK picture quality on 720 but good on HD. Very small and light weight to use on my Babyhawk drone.

Mini Camera ?
These units are advertised everywhere. I bought it thinking it might work. The card jammed while trying to insert it.Couldn’t get the unit to come on - sent it back - don’t waste your time ordering.
