Great blender pens
Great addition to my crafting supplies. Blends colored pencils smoothly, no globs or uneven colors.

I do like that it leaves a printed look to the color ...
These markers blend well for a while and then the tip of the pen gets stained from the colored pencils. I've been using it to blend my prang color pencil drawings and after a while the oil from the pencils clogs the marker and i have to throw it away. I do like that it leaves a printed look to the color pencil after blending. I recommend to go light on the color pencil and your marker will last longer.

Favorite blending pens
Fantastic, and does not stain or influence future blending integrity, the excess color quickly evaporates and it's like a new blending pen every time

This is a great, reasonably priced tool.
This tool provides the means to add several levels of depth to a work where the media is colored pencils. They are very reasonabley priced, and would be so even if that was the price for 1, or 2, but you get 3 of them in the blister pack.I find that they work very well, even across multiple brands. I will definitely acquire more when I need them.

Absolutely great blenders, but lack of replacement nibs is a major downside.
I really *want* to be able to give these a higher rating, because I really do like using this blenders! I found them to work extraordinarily well in blending either in areas with heavy layers of coloring or blending lighter, early base layers of color. These have become one my go-to blending tools when I'm working on the backgrounds of a scene (even ahead of the Odorless Mineral Spirits). To me, the ease of application and the nice, constant flow of blending fluid from the marker makes these superior to OMS in many situations. But there is one major flaw with them, and it deeply saddens me: color will eventually saturate the nib to the point where it is really really difficult and time-consuming to get it clean again... so it pretty much becomes a question of spending a ton of time (and wasting a ton of the blending fluid) trying to get it clean, again, so you can use it on different colors without the previous colors bleeding into it... or just keeping one blender for each color. If I could find replacement nibs for these, I would give these 5 stars in a heartbeat... but because I can't—and because they are expensive enough that it makes it unrealistic to just buy a dozen of them—I must lower that rating considerably. The nib (at least the nib on the brush-end) can be easily pulled out of the marker, though... so, theoretically, the nibs should be replaceable. I plan to explore replacement nib options in hopes of finding some that will work in this blender... and, if I do find nibs that work for these, I will update my review and rating to reflect that.Update: I contacted Global Art Materials about replacement nibs or even just advice on finding compatible replacements. In their response they acknowledged that color can get deeply ingrained into the nibs, that they do not sell replacement nibs and do not recommend removing the nibs, and that, basically, I can just buy more of them. The suggestion that I can just purchase more of them after the nibs get too saturated with color was very, very disappointing. As much as I like these, I'm not going to spend $40+ on blender markers so I have enough that I don't need to worry about having different colors bleed into what I'm trying to blend.

My favorite blender pen
I love these pens. They have never failed to blend any brand of colored pencil. They small pen like end is my favorite to blend with. They don't last as long as I would like but I dip the end in alcohol until I can order more.

Speedball finesse color pencil blender
WOW!! I wish I would have found this color pencil blender a long time ago. This blends your color pencil work better than alcohol or any other blending product. It has a bush pen side and a smaller tip on other end for smaller areas. It is a liquid type blender but does not crinkle your paper or smear your work. It blends beautifully.
