UPDATED Review 5/13/2019At the bottom was my original review and I left it here for posterity. The seller reached out to me about my negative review and asked if they could send me a replacement. I said yes but my review would be completely objective and I would not change it if the product failed again. The seller sent me a complete replacement at their expense and I'm happy to say the new set works great. I was very hesitant that this would work given my experience with LED's and the poor quality from some sellers on amazon. This seller went above and beyond to get me a working product. Not only would I buy this product again based on this but I certainly would favor this seller compared to others. I have left my share of poor (and good) reviews on products but this is the first one I have ever gone back and changed because the seller made good on their product. Thank you for standing behind your products.:: ORIGINAL REVIEW::Burns out completelyLike another reviewer mine burnt out. Using just 2 segments of the strip and applying less than 11.5v they burnt out in a a day to a sickly white. So I thought perhaps it was the voltage. Then using as little as 10v (enough to light them) they burned out again in about 3 days. They may work better in longer lengths but clearly these are not designed well given that cutting them in each strip is not properly regulating the current. I may still be able to make these work but the strip really should be limiting the current to the LED's. Be aware of this if you are cutting them for projects as it is likely they will burn out over time unless you're limiting the current. I've not had this issue with other brands.

I ordered it for cure box of 3d printer, the lights are super bright. easy to cut and install, work great after 1week, worth for the price.

They worked great at first but after a month and a half (between 1-2hrs of use a week for 3d printing) they have died. Advertised lifespan of 50,000+ hours. Buy some that will last you longer.

I bought them because they said they were purple, ok.. and UV blacklight.. Unfortunately they were not good at either. They are purple, but not very bright. They are not heavy in the UV spectrum either, though they do appear to put out some UV.I won't return them unless they fail while I test them but I won't use them for the intended project either.

It is a little cheaper than others. but I do not see any defect of this product. It does light up my house and looks nice. so far so good.

Product is very easy to install. And lights are excellent in brightness, however, after a month or so, I’ve noticed them starting to dim somewhat so am hoping they last a lot longer!

DO NOT BUY.I am super forgiving in my amazon reviews but man is this easily the worst purchase I have ever made on amazon.I bought these to put into my computer to illuminate the UV fluid in my waterloop. These LEDs are NOT UV AT ALL. Didn't even get the slightest of reaction out of my fluid with 1M of these LEDs, uninterupted, pointing directly at the tubing/fluid (EK UV Green). To top it off, in less than a week they are now a faint pink color. Save your money. Two stars because at least they turned on and the adhesive backing was decent.

La tira de luz led llego sin los adaptadores que dice que trae, no venia en caja, solo en bolsa, no lo pude regresar por que cuando me llego estaba de viaje y al regresar habia pasado el tiempo de debolución. Me quede con la tira de luces pero con los cables pelones.
